Overview

WIll serve as primary contact in a business-to-business relationship calling on customers, cultivating relationships with factory reps, and working with field personnel through verbal, written and electronic communications.  Individual will primarily operate in the Atlanta, GA region and surrounding cities; but are free to follow their customers wherever they lead and cover any territory desired.

Responsibilities

  • Call on K-12 schools, local architects, interior designers, and contractors in the GA market, as well as end users such as restaurants, churches, community centers, nursing homes, chains, etc. Provide Singer T&L with your customer contacts for us to help market to your clients.
  • Provide design services to these customers and put under design contract. Push and promote mostly NexGen vendors, as well as ABC and Schedule B vendors.
  • Assemble bids in AutoQuotes and bid to your customers. Singer T&L will provide you with an AutoQuotes subscription. Solicit and retrieve the customer PO or contract, sign and execute.
  • Chase your quarterly and yearly sales quota, as well as profit margin goals.
  • Cultivate relationships with your GA market reps and formulate a strategy around pushing certain lines that align with their line card.
  • Your sales orders will be processed by a sales administrator we assign to you. It is still your responsibility to review PO’s for accuracy and to ensure orders are shipped promptly.
  • Project Managers will be assigned to your large projects to run the submittals and day to day management of the project. With that said, it is still your customer, and our expectation is that you stay involved in the project to ensure equipment is delivered in time, the proper equipment is ordered, and you review the submittals, and the installation goes smoothly. We advise you attend the demo day to network with your customers and reps.
  • Work with accounting department to ensure proper invoicing of customers and collection of payment in a timely manner.
  • Travel to jobsites and to see customers as needed. Possible overnight stays are warranted when travelling to see customers.
  • Your home office will constitute your working office space. You can also work from home. You will be expected to attend a quarterly sales meeting at the Fayetteville, NC headquarters. You are also expected to turn in a weekly sales report, outlining past week’s work and your plan for the following week.

Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following Skills and Abilities

    • Five years of experience in the food service industry
    • Efficient in AutoQuotes, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Teams
    • Five years of experience in a sales capacity
