  • M.D., Master’s Degree or PhD in relevant field (e.g., organizational psychology, leadership development, organizational development.
  • At least five years’ experience in coaching, organizational improvement, learning and development, or similar.
  • Completion of coach training. Credential coach preferred.
  • Prior experience in a healthcare environment. Experience in surgical field preferred.
  • Demonstrated and established reputation for integrity, discretion, honesty, and good judgment



Required License/Registration/Certification

Completion of coach training. Credential coach preferred.





Job Summary

The College of Medicine is seeking a talented individual to support and advance a culture of organizational well-being within the Department of Surgery. The Department Well-Being Director will report to the Chair of the Department of Surgery and the Director of Organizational Well-Being in the Office of Organizational Well-Being. This faculty appointment will focus on opportunities to support the professional development and leadership effectiveness of faculty and providers within the department.
