
Executive Assistant to the President
Position Purpose
Under the direct supervision of the President, the Executive Assistant serves as the administrative focal point supporting the senior executive office consisting of the President and Provost. This position requires a strong mission-orientated and independent individual with excellent written and oral communication skills, who is also capable of managing a variety of responsibilities and administrative software applications.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities
- Prepares senior-level correspondence, reports, and other administrative documents in support of the President’s and Provost offices. Processes and advises senior leadership on incoming correspondence as applicable.
- Coordinates with senior executive team on report requirements and deadlines in support of the President and Provost’s office.
- Functions as the administrative liaison to the Board of Trustees. Responsible for assembling Board materials in support of meetings or actions. Maintains the Trustee directory and the Board’s resource management system (AGB OnBoard).
- Assists the Provost’s office in overseeing the creation and distribution of employee appointment letters and on-campus housing leases.
- Manages all new employee administrative in-processing, background investigation, and onboarding process through the college’s HR management system (Paylocity)
- In coordination with the President, manages his/her schedule and calendar. Receives and coordinates all scheduling requests for the President.
- Manages the reservation schedule of all college conference rooms and quest quarters.
- Maintains the college’s employee personnel administrative records.
- Provide protocol support for the President’s and Provost’s office.
Qualifications (Skills and Abilities Required)
- Positive attitude, courteous, and professional
- Ability to use Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word) required. Experience working with online HR management applications is highly desired.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Ability to multi-task, be attentive to detail, and make sound judgments
- Qualified candidates will have excellent verbal, written, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Must be comfortable working independently with limited guidance and have the ability to make independent decisions.
- Must have the ability to handle sensitive material and information confidentially. Maturity, poise, judgment, and professionalism are essential.
