Forensic Science Tenure-Track Faculty

The College of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics at Alvernia University seeks an Assistant or Associate Tenure-Track Faculty member for our Forensic Science Program. The position will begin once the candidate is hired with an agreed-upon start date—no later than the start of the Fall 2025 semester. We are seeking candidates who hold a minimum of a master’s or equivalent degree in a field of forensic science offered by the program and at least 5 years full-time or equivalent experience as a practitioner OR a doctorate in an appropriate field of forensic science offered by the program and 3 years full-time or equivalent experience as an academic forensic scientist. Preference will be given to applicants with research and teaching experience.   

Required Qualifications: 

Candidates should provide evidence of quality teaching experience and scholarly productivity. Experience with teaching courses in general and/or physical chemistry is desirable.
