Job Summary
Research Financial Services is an integral part of the research endeavor, overseeing the financial reporting and compliance requirements of all externally sponsored projects including grant and contracts. Our primary goal is to facilitate the management of sponsored funds provided to the University, in compliance with relevant guidelines, for the purpose of continuing research.
We are seeking a Grants Financial Analyst to aid in the management of a rapidly expanding research portfolio in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. A successful applicant will be an enthusiastic person with great passion and energy to complete daily tasks independently, while ensuring continual progress towards long term goals. A love of policy and procedure to promote uniformity in decision-making and actions is essential.
This position includes the review of cost transfers, service center billings, and journal entries related to sponsored projects to ensure compliance with University accounting and business procedures. Responsibilities also include financial subaward monitoring, coordination and support of external audits and reviews of sponsored projects, and special projects as needed.
This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule upon completion of training.
