As we enter our third season as Portland’s G League team, we’re searching for an enthusiastic and motivated sales professional to join us as a Part-Time Group Sales Representative. In this role, you willplay a key role in selling ticket packages to local businesses, schools, and community organizations. You'll help grow our fan base by securing new group sales, maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, and ensuring an exceptional game-day experience for groups.

This is a 12-month developmental program that is designed to grow and develop your skill set as a professional. Our program offers a dynamic and immersive learning experience, equipping you with the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive in the competitive world of sales. Aside from developing your sales skills, you can participate in our Early Career Cohort and other networking opportunities.

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about building relationships, excited to help drive group ticket sales, and create unforgettable experiences for our fans. DAY-TO-DAY:

GROUP SALES & OUTREACH

  • Proactively sell ticket packages to local businesses, schools, and community organizations.
  • Assist with outbound sales efforts, including cold calling, email outreach, and setting up meetings to generate leads.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with fans and clients to encourage repeat group ticket purchases.
  • Continuously research and develop new group sales leads within the Portland and broader Oregon community.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions within the CRM system.

GAME-DAY SALES & CLIENT EXPERIENCE

  • Support game-day operations, including hosting group experiences and ensuring a seamless, high-quality event for attendees.
  • Engage with fans at games to enhance the experience and build brand loyalty.
  • Work closely with the ticketing and fan experience teams to ensure all group sales clients receive top-tier service.
  • Assist in planning and executing themed group nights and special promotions to drive attendance.
  • Identify upsell opportunities, such as premium experiences or add-ons, to maximize revenue per group sale.
  • Partner with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns specific to group sales initiatives.

  • Have the ability to work game nights, networking events, and sales meetings as needed.
  • Are fully available to work all 24 Rip City Remix home games, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

  • Experience in ticket sales, group sales, or outbound sales efforts, preferred, but not required
