Job Description and Requirements
The IT Network Security Manager will Provide leadership, mentoring and support for the design, implementation, management and maintenance of the network security infrastructure at RBFCU in order to ensure the highest quality, integrity and security for our employees and members. .
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Lead and guide the team to facilitate the process of gathering and analyzing network security requirements with business units to identify specific customer needs for network activities.
- Mentor junior and senior engineers and administrators in the design, implementation and maintenance of the network security infrastructure.
- Lead design and implementation sessions to ensure proper system monitoring for reliability, security, and availability.
- Partner with the Information Security team to ensure that vulnerability plan is updated and implemented across the network security infrastructure.
- Collaborate and lead (with other groups in IT) in the development of budgets and project proposals related to technology projects.
- Provide ownership and leadership to help create a solid relationship with our business partners/vendors to ensure a secure, resilient network security infrastructure.
- Build partnerships across the business to ensure the design of the network security infrastructure and systems for corporate and branch locations meet our employee and member's needs.
- Facilitate and lead the team's response to ensure that the team acts as an escalation point for enterprise-wide technical support and customer service for network security products and services.

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of five years of job related experience
- Minimum of one year management experience
- Senior level knowledge of network security and ancillary systems including their installation, monitoring and troubleshooting
- Senior level knowledge of Networking basics: OSI model, VLANs, IPv4 and IPv6 addressing, networking components, Access Lists, Routing protocols, NAT, VPN, etc
- Senior level knowledge of VoIP and SIP, Wi-Fi, web applications, API's and automation
- Entry level knowledge of telephony, PC/Server operating systems, video conferencing concepts
- Knowledge of Microsoft Applications
- Knowledge of Command Line functions
- SSH tools
- CCNP/Palo Alto Cybersecurity/Junos certifications
- Senior level knowledge of Wireshark application
