Physical Requirements
Lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects up to 50 lbs. Sitting/standing for extended periods of time as well as extended periods of repetitive motion and general laboratory duties required as part of this position.
Shift
Days (hours slightly flexible); Monday- Friday (40 hrs/wk).
Job Summary
The Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory (UKVDL} seeks a Senior Laboratory Technician. The duties for this position in the Molecular Section of the UKVDL include process specimens; run diagnostic assays; evaluate results; keep proper records and report results; database management; bioinformatics; and assist in the training of other employees as needed.
