Job Summary

The Literature Division of the Department of English in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky invites applications for a full-time Lecturer position in English and US Business Practices to begin June 1, 2025. The selected candidate will be appointed to a 9-month, non-tenure eligible faculty position for an initial two-year period that has the potential for renewal and for promotion to Senior Lecturer after five years.The preferred candidate will have at least two years of experience teaching Literature, Film, and American Studies courses at the introductory and advanced undergraduate level, including large lecture courses and online courses. We are particularly interested in applicants with expertise in American literature from 1945 to the present, with a focus on labor, economic, and environmental themes.

A Ph.D. in Comparative Literature is required.
