Job Summary

The Department of Finance and Quantitative) Methods at the University of Kentucky seeks to hire a full-time lecturer. Previous teaching experience and experience in commercial real estate is desirable. An MA, MS, MBA, or JD is required (a PhD in Finance (or similar) is desired, but not required). The primary job responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate classes in finance/real estate and working with industry partners on programming and placement of our finance students. The projected start date is January of 2025.



Department

The Department of Finance is the fastest growing major in the Gatton College of Business and the 4th largest major on the UK campus. Programs such as our Wall St. Scholars and Pelissier Scholars have allowed us to place our top students into nationally competitive investment banking, management consulting, and asset management jobs. The finance area at UK has a highly productive core of research- and teaching-oriented faculty, a vibrant PhD program, and excellent support for research and teaching faculty. Salary and teaching load are competitive with leading public universities.
