We are seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant (LAA) with real estate finance experience to join our finance practice in the Washington DC office. The ideal candidate is someone who is energetic, eager to learn and grow professionally, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities and understands the cycle of a real estate transaction. The selected individual work within a team of LAAs to liaison between attorneys, project assistants, paralegals and clients. This position is hybrid and offers a work schedule of 3 days a week in the office.

Your Role:
As a Legal Administrative Assistant within our Finance Department your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Providing overall legal administrative support, including extensive document production and coordinating closing materials.

Ensuring fee earners' daily time entries are drafted in accordance with firm and client guidelines; and entering information into firm systems in a timely fashion. Preparing new business intake forms and open new client matters.

Preparing and submitting expense reimbursement diaries and processing invoices.

Maintaining schedules and calendars, making travel arrangements, updating contacts, and do other work as needed.

Required Experience:
2-3 years of commercial real estate experience with a law firm, title company, mortgage company or other related entity. Recent College degree and previous experience with loan closings or Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, a plus. Intermediate level skills working with Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems. Must be able to work overtime, when needed.

Time worked in excess of 40 hours per week will be paid at time and one half of the hourly rate. The salary range for this position is from $80,000 - $85,000 depending upon experience and location.
