
Legal Support Associate Specialist

In this job, you’ll be part of the Case Administration team in Regulatory Affairs and support our Regulatory teams and attorneys to manage proceedings with CPUC, FERC, and various other agencies. Responsibilities
- Update and maintain records of assigned cases.
- Review materials for organization, clarity, consistency, and timeliness to meet regulatory deadlines and legal requirements, and maintains calendar to ensure actionable deadlines are met.
- Process discovery/data requests, manage approval process, troubleshoot common issues, and escalate appropriately.
- Serve documents, notices, agendas, communications, and other relevant proceeding information to identified parties.
- Create and maintain various detailed records for tracking purposes and statistics.
- Provide backup support as needed.
- Assist in the preparation for evidentiary hearings, including identifying, organizing, printing, and transmitting all necessary documentation.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience in analytical role providing legal administrative support.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suites.
- Experience working with confidential and large data.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of CPUC Practice and Procedures
- Familiarity with the Regulatory Case Management System (RCMS)
- Experience working on high priority regulatory cases
Additional Information
- This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs
