GCS Finance Product HQ & Analytics is a newly created team based in New York, playing a critical role in enabling the GCS Product organization to deliver on GCS long-term growth ambitions. The team will directly support the Head of GCS Product organization and her office as well as liaise with various finance teams on critical analytics projects.

How will you make an impact in this role?

  • Help design and execute various financial performance reporting processes including monthly GCS Product leadership meetings, product financial updates to BU President and product-related sections of GCS quarterly EC and BOD packages. This will include developing new PowerBI dashboards for product-centric financial reporting.
  • Work on cross-functional analytical exercises to identify growth opportunities and areas of risk, leveraging big-data sources and profitability metrics to influence business leadership and drive key priorities.
  • Partner closely with Product and GCS IO teams on card member value (CMV) refresh process, to ensure greater alignment with the latest trends and expectations on product behaviors and margins.
  • Assist with product LFO related strategic planning processes to support GCS annual allocation of tech and strategic OpEx/ACU capacity.
  • Build relationships and collaborate closely with the GCS Product organization, Product and Segment LFO teams, GCS P&L Management, BU FP&A, GCS Opex COE, and Corporate Planning Decision Science.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to communicate with and influence people across all levels of the organization
  • Experience collaborating with stakeholders beyond immediate team
  • Basic knowledge of the P&L and ability to link business strategy with financial impacts
  • Be data-driven, outcome-focused and a fast learner
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with good attention to detail
  • SQL / Cornerstone experience required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using Power BI preferred
  • Desire to work on (and some experience with) ambiguous projects, with the ability to break down and execute on complex ideas
  • Eagerness to continuously improve processes, with some experience in automating and streamlining procedures

Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
