Compensation
The base hourly rate for this position is $26.31.Summary of Position:
Conduct daily QA tests to ensure finished products meet roofing systems finished product specs. Also, ensure raw materials meet purchasing specs and are in compliance with UL/FM requirements. Maintain all records and interact with UL/FM regulators (inspections).
Key Responsibilities:
Understand HMIS, MSDS labels and applications
Read and understand production schedule
Understand all company product specifications and quality standards
Trained in Lock, Tag, Clear, Try and how to lockout dry end equipment
Ensure cleaning expectations are met
Ability to Train New Employees (Assistant QA Tech)
Know where and how all emergency stop operations work
What to do in an emergency evacuation
Signed off on all PJO/JSA's for QA Tech position
Able to perform and maintain all calibrating checks, coordinate with vendors in calibrations
LTCT Certified
Forklift Certified
Keep saw cutting area clean and orderly
Perform all roofing systems QA Test methods and interpret the results
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to walk, stoop, kneel and climb ladders and staircases.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be able operate mobile equipment.
Must be able to work overtime as needed and have a flexible work schedule.
Qualifications:
At least one year in production environment in similar role
Must be able to read a tape measure accurately
Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
Strong Interpersonal Skills
Solid Communication Skills (written/verbal)
Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
