Position Summary

This role is an opportunity to work with our North American dealer network to increase our parts & attachments market share and provide the industry’s finest customer support to delight our customers. The Inside Sales Representative will arrange regular business reviews with assigned dealer groups, review market and JCB data to identify areas to improve in a particular business area and establish joint development plans in partnership with our dealers to achieve business goals.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities

  • Host monthly aftermarket business reviews with assigned dealers, review the monthly Dealer Service Excellence report (dealer KPI’s) and discuss and agree areas to improve dealer profitability
  • Share best practice, training and coaching during business reviews, based on JCB examples of best practice across the wider dealer network
  • Identify “new product” opportunities where JCB is not winning business today and feedback to product department.
  • Assist dealers in identifying market potential, JCB share, and propose recovery of lost business
  • Reviews lost sales information with dealers and decide upon course of action to resolve issues
  • Review dealer stocks and ordering efficiency to maximize dealer profitability
  • Work with service departments to increase efficiency and capacity to maintain excellent levels of support for a growing customer base
  • Support Attachments division with market intelligence and product requirements for assigned dealers
  • Regular review of dealer performance and progress to agreed marketing plans with senior management

Minimum Qualifications

  • Pass background check and preemployment drug screening
  • A high school diploma or its equivalent is required

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of corporate business experience managing customers, distributors or supplier relations
  • Basic understanding of business finance, marketing strategy and communication
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Enthusiastic approach to challenges with history of exercising a growth mindset
  • Must be people-oriented with the ability to build customer-focused relationships
  • Strong communications skills across multiple media.
  • Proficient IT skills including, but not limited to, MS Office Suite applications, smartphones, and tablets
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
  • The ability to work independently and with indirect oversight
  • Construction and agriculture equipment knowledge preferred

Job Conditions

  • Both office environment and occasionally manufacturing/factory environment
  • Subject to noise and temperature changes
