Job Summary

Oversees the implementation and daily operation of The Women’s Center at CCM and the grants that fund this Workforce Development job readiness program. Ensures that all grant requirements are met and there is a long-term strategic plan. Provides leadership in designing quality programs and services, evaluates service provision, prepares performance reports and oversees financial accounts, adjusting budgets as needed. Identifies additional funding sources and grant opportunities. Develops new programs and services to meet participants needs. Supervises staff and completes performance evaluations, facilitates team meetings, case reviews and ongoing training and professional development. Provides leadership to The Women’s Center team, volunteers and the division. Develops, maintains and cultivates partnerships with community organizations and public relations including outreach. Completes participant intakes to determine eligibility, assessing needs, making referrals and providing case management services. Actively engaged with the Displaced Homemakers Network. Assists with maintaining participant records and documentation of services. Ensures regular social media presence.



Qualifications - Education

Master’s degree in social work, public administration or equivalent advanced degree.



Qualifications - Experience

Five (5) years administrative experience in a not-for-profit, social services, or career development organization, with demonstrated leadership in financial management, program development, program assessment, resource development, community partnership and personnel management.



Qualifications - Skills

Knowledge of human services.

Strong background working with women.

Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Demonstrated analytical and research skills.

Experience in grant-funded positions or organizations.

Knowledge of various social media and computer software programs, e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Publishing Software, etc.

Bi-lingual, Spanish highly preferred.



Work Hours

9:00 AM – 3:00 PM with some evening and weekend hours occasionally.
