The Project Manager, FP&A will play a critical role in supporting the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team with a specific focus on finance operations. This position is responsible for managing and executing strategic projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, and enhancing cross-departmental collaboration. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in project management, data analysis, and process improvement, with the ability to drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management:
    • Lead and manage cross-functional projects that support OEM brand relations and Variable Operations.
    • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones to ensure successful execution.
    • Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and communicate status updates to stakeholders.
    • Ensure all open projects are accurately represented from a visual perspective and tracked to completion.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
    • Work closely with the FP&A team, Variable Operations leadership, and other departments to identify project needs and priorities.
    • Facilitate meetings and workshops to gather requirements, align on objectives, and track deliverables.
    • Create executive presentations that effectively communicate project status and outcomes.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting:
    • Partner with analysts and data scientists to leverage data for decision-making and project insights.
    • Managing multiple data source and optimizing process
    • Create and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and other reporting tools using Power BI, Excel, and other visualization platforms to measure project performance.
    • Deliver high-quality visual representations of data and project status updates.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities to streamline processes within Variable Operations and FP&A.
    • Implement best practices and recommend tools or solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Budget Alignment:
    • Support Variable Operations in aligning projects with budget objectives and long-term financial goals.
  • Brand President Support:
    • Provide analytical support to Brand Presidents in collaboration with the variable operations team.
    • Track and analyze Customer Service Index (CSI) metrics, ensuring brand-specific variations are accounted for.
    • Assist in identifying trends and opportunities for improving customer satisfaction and operational performance.
    • Develop visual reports and tools to support brand-specific strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. PMP certification is a plus.
  • Experience:
    • 3+ years of project management experience, preferably in financial roles.
    • Experience in automotive, retail, or a similar fast-paced industry is a plus.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficient in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, or similar).
    • Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint for data analysis and visualization.
    • Strong command of data visualization tools and techniques to support executive-level presentations.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
    • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
