To thrive, you should have:

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a professional phone manner and the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Proven ability to handle difficult situations, respond promptly to customer needs, and build strong customer relationships.
  • Technical Knowledge: Intermediate knowledge of vinyl flooring products and familiarity with Infor CRM and SAGE 100.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage workload effectively, pay strong attention to detail, and adapt to changing environments.
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree or 3-4 years of related experience, with proficiency in MS Office and data entry skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed

As the Sales Assistant, you will sell corporate products to businesses, industrial establishments, or individuals over the telephone by performing the following:

  • Generate and follow up on sales leads from various sources, including trade shows, direct mail responses, and online inquiries.
  • Make outbound calls/emails to qualify leads, convert inbound inquiries into sales, and overcome customer objections.
  • Prepare and process sales orders, including quoting prices, freight, lead times, and credit terms.
  • Maintain and update customer information in the CRM system, ensuring accurate and current data.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships while resolving any issues related to deliveries or services.
