Sales Representative - Construction Technology
Territory: Connecticut Sate
SITECH Metro Northeast is HIRING IMMEDIATELY for an Outside Sales Representative to service the state of Connecticut!
Pay: $80,000 base salary, uncapped commission potential
Commission: UNCAPPED (first year pre-paid commission between $20,000-35,000)
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm; overtime availability required
Territory: Connecticut state

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Outside Sales Representative is responsible for the following tasks:
- Contribute to the achievement of overall SITECH goals
- Successfully sell, rent, and lease Trimble equipment or any other SITECH products
- Develop & utilize strategies & selling tools to sell the features/benefits of Trimble equipment & value of the total product offerings
- Ensure adequate, cost-effective sales coverage of all existing accounts and the development of new accounts
- Contribute to overall growth of all products and services offered by SITECH
- Expand customer base in assigned territory
- Proactively increase sales and market share in Spectra Laser, Trimble 2D Systems, etc.
- Develop & implement sales growth strategies with state-based DOT agencies
- Build & maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Become an integral part of the customers’ experience
- Collaborate with CAT Dealer Sales Reps to develop relationships for profitable growth
- Create quotes in collaboration with Operations Manager
- Maintain and communicate accurate data to Operations Manager
- Assist in providing sales documentation
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to manage a sales territory, prospect, and cultivate new accounts
- Clean & valid driver’s license required (this is an outside sales role)
- Previous direct sales experience, preferably in industrial-type market, required
- Experience with surveying, estimating, construction equipment, and earthmoving operations preferred
- Experience with construction technologies such as Trimble, Topcon, Leica, Spectra preferred
- Excellent influencing skills
- Economically motivated
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- PC proficient (including high proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office and other software)
- Proficiency with CRM systems to track all sales contacts, meetings, opportunities, proposals, and orders
- Strong self-starter with high-level time management skills

- Sitting, rotation and forward bending (sitting and standing)
- Hand coordination and reaching
- Grip (30lbs. with both hands, 80lbs. with preferred/single hand)
- Foot pedal operation
- Crawling, low work (kneeling), and awkward positioning
- Outdoor work (as required)
