Description
Responsible for the overall accounting, financial reporting and analysis for Concern’s Affiliates. This position oversees accounting for the ongoing operations and development of these entities. It is also responsible for the cash management function for Concern and all of its affiliated entities.
Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
- Oversee the A/P and A/R operations for Concern and the HUD Project Share entities and Concern’s Rep Payee function.
- Bank liaison and management of the cash function for Project Development and the HUD Project Share entities.
- Coordination and management of the monthly accounting close for Concern and the Project Shares, in addition to annual PRAC renewals.
- Preparation monthly and quarterly GAAP interim financial statements and footnotes and other ad hoc financial reports for management as needed.
- Coordination and management of the annual budget process and the preparation and analysis of monthly budget to actual reports.
- Monitors internal controls, policies and procedures relating to financial agency functions. This includes but is not limited to: computerized systems, financial records and transactions, internal/external reporting, filing, staffing, etc.
- Responsible for the review of the Federal and State tax filings for Concern.
- Prepare and analyze monthly project development reports, including but not limited to budgeting and requisition processing from AIA G702/703.
- Special projects as needed.
- Remain current with all Agency required compliance documents and trainings.
Salary Range- $80, 000 - $90,000
Position Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required. Analytical ability and proficiency in Excel. Knowledge of Oracle NetSuite ERP a plus. A minimum of three years’ experience in accounting or financial analysis, preferably in specialized areas.
Areas of Specialized Knowledge: Specialized knowledge of accounting in construction project development, LIHTC real estate, and/or NYS OMH/OASAS funding all a big plus.
