About the role:
he Senior Accountant reports to the Controller. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: cFixed Assets, Lease Accounting, Warranty, budgeting, inter company eliminations, general ledger accountability, consolidations, financial reporting to parent company, and audit support.
What you will do:
- Responsible for accounting consolidation, financial reporting, reconciliations and technical accounting research
- Perform month-end close function including eliminations of intercompany transactions and other assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting processes.
- Lead technical projects to improve accounting operations processes within the ERP. Develop new and improved processes to improve the quality and accuracy of parent company and external auditing reporting and minimize the need for subsequent corrections.
- Key liaison for external audit and information requirements for Deloitte- MLA corporate auditor.
- Creates and maintains the GL chart of accounts and associated mappings, working with IT department on automation improvements to accounting systems.
- Maintain integrity of general ledger through account reconciliations, including the research and resolution of issues as they arise.
When & Where:
Office environment working a hybrid schedule (3 days per week in office).
What you need to have:
- 10+ years of experience with 5+ years of GL accounting experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Solid knowledge of US GAAP and controls environment
- Advanced excel skills including pivot tables, lookups, indexing and financial modeling
What would be nice to have:
- Big 4 Audit Experience
- Technical aptitude with accounting systems and ERPs
- CPA and/or MBA from accredited college or university
- Project Managemnt skills
- Working knowledge of Sage Fixed Assets, Power BI, OneStream, and LeaseQuery

The pay for this position ranges from $94,129 to $100,000 annually. The specific salary for a successful candidate will depend upon, among other legitimate factors, education, training, and/or experience.
