How will you make an impact in this role?
American Express is the leading payment card issuer for small businesses in the United States and supports business owners with a wide range of differentiated products and services to help them run and grow their businesses. The Small Business Loyalty Marketing team within GCS Marketing is responsible for building high impact strategies to engage customers with the core value proposition and features of their Card like spend, lend, MR redemption & benefit engagement.
The Senior Analyst, Lend Engagement Marketing will lead a cohesive marketing strategy to engage Small Business Card Members through targeted marketing channels with relevant lending features and treatments on our Charge and Credit Card Portfolios, including Pay Over Time, Line Increase and Promotional APRs. In this role, the Sr. Analyst will strategize and execute customer marketing campaigns across email and digital channels to increase usage of lending features and drive incremental engagement, collaborating with stakeholders including Product, Analytics, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and other Marketing Teams. Additionally, this person will analyze results and leverage insights to enhance existing customer experiences and campaign performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and enhance lend engagement curriculum, finding opportunities to increase campaign performance
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agencies in developing creative & targeting strategies for marketing campaigns across email and digital channels
- Expand on existing initiatives by leveraging card member research, campaign results, product insights, and capability enhancements.
- Monitor, report and analyze campaign results, providing recommendations to define future campaigns
- Partner with Marketing Operations Analyst in executing campaigns, closely working with Legal and Compliance Teams to ensure that marketing content is compliant
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of email and/or digital marketing experience (financial services experience is a plus)
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once, operate autonomously, and prioritize effectively
- Highly collaborative and comfortable in a cross-functional environment with many stakeholders with the ability to influence internal and external partners
- Ability to ideate net-new ideas in enhancing lend engagement curriculum, leveraging expertise from internal stakeholders and external partners
- Demonstrate strategic thought leadership and intellectual curiosity to proactively identify opportunities, anticipate challenges, and provide creative solutions
- Passion for small business customers and card members’ experiences
- Experience managing marketing campaigns from kickoff to launch
- Easily adapts to change with a flexible attitude
- Solution oriented and ability to overcome roadblocks
Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
