The City of Lexington’s Human Resources Department is looking for a talented individual who enjoys a challenge, has a knack for creativity and believes in being a change agent and a servant leader.  The Senior Human Resources Analyst  performs complex professional work in the development, coordination, implementation, administration, and evaluation the employee benefits, the wellness program, various human resources programs, policies and procedures, Human Resource Information System (HRIS) applications, recruitment and retention functions, employee relations functions, compensation and classification, and human resources management.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, health education, business, organizational psychology, communications, public administration, or a related field
• Four to six years of directly related experience
• Valid NC driver’s license and good driving record 

Work Schedule

Monday - Friday,  8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
Work requires flexible schedule and travel to various departments.
May be required to work long hours to complete projects/assignments, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends. Paid bi-weekly.
