Sr. Consultant - Logistics Planning and Optimization - Active Clearance Required

LMI is seeking a skilled Senior Logistics Consultant for work in the Army G-4 in the Pentagon in Arlington, VA. A successful LMI Logistics Analyst demonstrates competency in strategic planning, Army mobility and integration, and critical thinking, while upholding the highest standard of ethical behavior.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include:
- Conduct research into logistics operations, planning and wargaming.
- Canvass databases and consolidate information from numerous sources into a single data base or spreadsheet and manipulate the data for analysis of courses of action.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis of logistics operations, including application of analytical and simulation models.
- Synthesize project findings into actionable recommendations with demonstrable benefits in business performance
- Support and lead projects that re-design or enhance system-support via logistics policies and processes.
- Communicate with clients and senior Army leaders through written reports and oral presentations.
- Coordinate and staff recommendations with multiple agencies.
- Assist in marketing of consulting services, including market research, teaming arrangements, competitive analysis, and creation of marketing publications.
- Assist in business performance assessment and reporting.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Undergraduate degree required. Degree in supply chain management, international relations or business is preferred.
- This position requires 10 or more years’ work experience.
- Army knowledge/experience required.
- Strong quantitative skills, including the ability to use spreadsheets, database, and prepare briefing materiel.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly acquire and apply domain-specific expertise through on-the-job training and professional development training.
- Superior communication skills, both oral and written.
- Self-directed, detail oriented in completing assigned tasks, able to adapt to changing work efforts and manage impact of shifting priorities.
- Available for occasional travel.
- This position requires an active security clearance at the Top Secret level. You must be a US citizen.
DESIRED SKILLS
- Master’s degree or higher in related discipline.
- Working knowledge of Army Sustainment capabilities and concepts of employment preferred.
- Working knowledge of Experimentation and Concept Development
- Working knowledge of Army Capability Development and Requirements Management (ACIDS/JCIDS)
- Working knowledge of Joint and Multinational Force employment
Targeted Salary Range: $109,000-$135,000
