The Sr. Specialist for After Sales Marketing Strategy & Planning will play a critical role in supporting AutoNation’s after sales strategy by leveraging data analysis, market research, budget management, and strategic insights to drive revenue growth, optimize customer retention, and enhance operational efficiencies across marketing channels. This role is instrumental in enhancing visibility into key performance metrics, optimizing budgets, understanding industry trends, analyzing traffic patterns, and delivering actionable insights. The Sr. Specialist will proactively identify opportunities to improve after-sales profitability, influence strategic decision-making through data-driven insights, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational excellence. Additionally, the Sr. Specialist will assist in creating compelling presentations for internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Organizational Relationships:
The Sr. Specialist for After Sales Strategy & Planning directly reports to the Director, After Sales Marketing Strategy & Planning with extensive interaction across the Marketing organization and analytics teams. They will establish and maintain productive relationships with After Sales field and operational teams and other key stakeholders across the organization.


Job Responsibilities:
1. Budget Management:
a. Reconcile, forecast, and track After Sales marketing budget.
b. Advise on strategic shifts in spend by channel to maximize efficiency and ROI.
c. Ensure financial plan adherence and provide insights to support decision-making.
2. Analytics & Reporting:
a. Track ROI by channel and campaign, leveraging analytics tools and custom reporting to identify opportunities for improvement.
b. Develop robust test briefs and reporting systems in collaboration with analytics teams to enhance visibility into existing initiatives, new initiatives, traffic patterns, customer retention, campaign performance, and other key KPIs.
c. Provide insights to support customer lifetime value and cross-sell strategies, driving retention across business lines.
3. Market Research & Insights:
a. Conduct competitive analysis and monitor industry trends to identify opportunities, assess potential challenges, and provide strategic recommendations to inform marketing strategies.
b. Develop actionable insights to identify new opportunities, optimize marketing initiatives, and enhance customer offers.
4. Presentation & Communication:
a. Translate data-driven findings and recommendations into clear, compelling reports for marketing director, and stakeholders at corporate and in the field.
b. Prepare monthly presentations to share insights on KPIs, existing and new marketing initiatives, and market intelligence, for after sales marketing director and after sales marketing manager.
5. Offer Implementation:
a. Manage and enhance the process of implementing offers from field teams and ensuring their accuracy and timely input into systems.
b. Collaborate with marketing channel partners to distribute offers across customer-facing platforms.
6. Champion the company's vision, mission, and values, while adhering to all policies and procedures.
7. Ability to collaborate in a team environment and perform any additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field preferred.
2. Marketing analytics experience required (3+ years) or a related field.
3. Proficiency in Excel, Analytics tools such as Tableau or Qlik, Google Analytics, and PowerPoint.
4. Strong analytical skills with experience in ROI tracking and forecasting/budgeting.
5. Cross-functional exposure and demonstrated ability to liaise and partner with internal and external departments.
6. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage tight deadlines and multiple priorities.
7. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
8. Familiarity with automotive industry trends and best practices is preferred.
9. Must meet company’s requirements for employment.

1. Business travel (up to 15%)
