Required Education

Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree (preferred) in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.



Required Related Experience

Previously developed or worked on a team that developed a Salesforce Org. Worked on developing and implementing a CRM. Database development/administration and experience in project management.

Physical Requirements

Sitting, standing, walking, working at a computer for extended periods.

Job Summary

The STEPS CRM Administrator – Salesforce (System Architect) is responsible for designing and maintaining the Salesforce Org architecture for Cooperative Extension. This role involves close collaboration with Extension and IT professionals to ensure the CRM system aligns with strategic priorities and supports key Extension outcomes.



Key Responsibilities:



• System Architecture: Design and build the Salesforce Org architecture; align CRM features with strategic Extension goals; collaborate with Extension, IT, and UK Salesforce teams to implement improvements; lead training for initial CRM users.




• Data Management: Ensure data integrity through governance and cleansing processes; improve data methodology; evaluate labor and cost efficiency of database processes; collaborate with development teams and UK Salesforce staff on data-related specifications.




• Teamwork: Lead cross-functional teams in defining and executing CRM strategies; contribute to user guides, policy creation, and adoption of CRM best practices; foster continuous improvement in system design and usage.




• Documentation: Develop comprehensive documentation on system design, performance, and updates; communicate effectively with leadership regarding system changes, maintenance, and impacts.





Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

One or more of the following certificates: Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Application Architect, System Architect, and Technical Architect are preferred.
