Job Summary

The Stewart lab at the University of Kentucky Spinal Cord and Brain Injury Research Center (SCoBIRC) is seeking full-time assistance with research across a breadth of laboratory skills including performing routine experiments and techniques in molecular biology, cell culture, immunohistochemistry, cloning, animal surgery, and locomotor assessments. Further responsibilities will include general laboratory maintenance, keeping records of and maintaining inventory, as well as other duties as assigned. 



Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

General conceptual knowledge of biology and/or neuroscience consistent with a bachelors level background. General technical knowledge of routine wet lab techniques in molecular biology. Comfort with Microsoft office. Organizational skills and attention to detail.
