Accounting major, at least at the sophomore level, and completed initial 200 level courses.

Job Summary

Isannah H. Lee, CPA, PSC. is a local CPA firm seeking an accounting student, part-time or full-time, who would like to expand their knowledge in the field of accounting. The firm is primarily tax based, which allows employees to become familiar with, and learn to use, high end tax software. Applicants need to be an accounting major, at least at the sophomore level, preferably having completed the initial 200 level courses.

The position will work closely alongside CPA. Responsibilities could
include:
● General bookkeeping in QuickBooks
● Individual and business tax preparation and data entry
● Calculation and preparation of weekly/semi-monthly client
payrolls
● Preparation of monthly/quarterly/yearly payroll tax returns
and sales tax returns
● Tax research
● Respond to notices from government tax authorities
● Communicate with clients

Applicant can start as soon as they are hired with no specific
end date.

Can qualify for class credit/ internship credit if approved by college department head.
