Job Summary
You must be a current UK student to apply to this position. This position is located off-campus with a local Lexington employer and is not affiliated with UK.
Parks and Recreation hosts a variety of special events throughout the season varying in size, type, and locations. Some examples are July 4th Parade & Festival, Free Friday Flicks, Woodland Art Fair, Food Truck Fridays, and Thriller Parade. Seasonal staff serves as support for these events in a variety of capacities including but not limited to performing as parking attendants, assisting with crowd control, setting up and breaking down event supplies, and serving as positive public representatives of our departments. Ideal candidates will be exemplary at following instructions, communicating efficiently, and arriving at work with a positive, can-do attitude. This is a part-time, seasonal position with bit of an irregular schedule. It’s a great way to supplement income, get outside, and serve our community!
