Description

This is an important role in our Solutions Engineering organization reporting to the CTO. You will influence major transformation initiatives enabling technical solutions and providing learning about latest Technologies, APIs, and related integrations working with multiple SaaS vendors.

As technical lead, you will be working closely with product managers and scrum managers as a part of SCRUM teams with developers & QA in our global locations. You will guide a team of developers in a collaborative environment to shape solutions that drive our business forward.

This is a technical hands-on role reporting to the Head of IT - New Business Applications and leading to a Solutions Architect or Applications Domain Head position as a part of a career growth strategy within the CTO organization.

You will have ample opportunity to learn about our Individual and Group Lines of Businesses while working closely with cross functional teams.

Key Responsibilities 

  • You will lead technical teams to deliver web & mobile solutions & other internally facing web-based solutions.
  • You'll be responsible to engage the architecture, business solutions analyst and domain heads to work closely with business to understand what's driving the technical solution.
  • You will own the detailed technical designs and specifications that are compliant with the solutions architecture. 
  • You'll have ample of opportunity to co-architect & design, complex solutions that meet and exceed business needs.
  • You will collaborate with architecture and security teams to define standards and best practices for code development & ITSM.
  • You will be responsible for following architecture specifications to come up with detailed design specifications that developers can follow to produce quality code.
  • You'll be working in but not limited to high tech Spring Boot (Java based) ecosystem for API development.
  • You will lead meetings and presentations with stakeholders and senior leaders.
  • In addition, you can also work in Python, .NET and Sitecore (Content Mgmt.) ecosystem for Digital assets.
  • You'll also, be working closely with our QA community to support nonfunctional load tests and would also, be working with Infrastructure for the cloud tuning.
  • You will communicate effectively, and with an appropriate level of detail, to all levels in the organization. 

Job Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant work experience 
  • Passion for technology: Front end to back end, end-end. Example: front end: Node.js, Angular, React etc.. Back-end APIs Example: Spring Boot, traditional MVC
  • Exposure to DEV SEC OPS: GIT, Jenkins, Maven, Jfrog, etc., Experience with DevOps tools preferred 
  • 5+ years of full-stack development of Web and/or Mobile apps 
  • Proficiency with the following technologies: Spring Boot and/or .NET, Java and/or C#, Angular, SQL Server, Kafka or RabbitMQ, Swagger Docs, etc. 
  • Experience working with geographically dispersed teams 
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodology/concepts 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both technical and non-technical and the ability to communicate clearly and concisely.

The base compensation range represents the low and high end of the range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to qualifications, skills, competencies, location, and experience. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees.
