Job Description

Sales Specialist – Telco Edge Solutions NA
We are seeking an experiencedSales Specialistwith a strong focus onCNF,5G,ORAN, andEdge solutionsto drive growth and deliver innovative telecommunications solutions. As a trusted advisor in the telecommunications and edge computing industries, you will leverage your technology expertise and solution-oriented mindset to drive proactive campaigns to build pipeline, prospect, qualify, negotiate and close opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Leadership:Develop and execute sales strategies forCNF, 5G, Cloud-Native, ORAN, and Edgesolutions in assigned regions, markets.
  • Pipeline Development:Build and maintain a long-term sales pipeline, identifying new opportunities for customer value through innovative telecommunications solutions.
  • Go-to-Market Execution:Design and implement sales plays tailored to the unique challenges of the telecommunications sector, demonstrating deep industry knowledge.
  • Customer Engagement:Cultivate and maintain C-level relationships, positioning SUSE as a trusted advisor for advanced network solutions.
  • Collaborative Selling:Partner with account managers and cross-functional teams to integrate solution expertise into account strategies.
  • Strategic Partnerships:Develop and collaborate with keySystem Integratorsandpartnersto establish joint Go-to-Market (GTM) initiatives and drive new revenue opportunities.
  • Complex Sales:Lead the sale of sophisticated, high-value products and solutions, positioning offerings as part of comprehensive, customer-centric strategies.
  • Consultative Approach:Utilize consultative selling techniques to align customer business needs with SUSE's advanced solutions portfolio, including 5G, ORAN, and Edge architectures.
  • Customer Success:Create and grow a base of reference customers by delivering transformative value through cutting-edge technology implementations.
  • Market Expertise:Maintain deep knowledge of the telecommunications industry, customer business processes, and the evolving landscape ofcloud-nativeand edge computing solutions.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Technical Expertise:Deep understanding ofCNF, 5G,Cloud-Native Architectures,ORAN, andEdge Computingtechnologies and their application in telecommunications.
  • Industry Knowledge:Extensive knowledge of telecommunications business structures, processes, financial models, and IT ecosystems, including typical objectives and metrics of C-level executives.
  • Solution Selling:Mastery in consultative selling, leveraging SUSE's portfolio to deliver business outcomes that differentiate from competitors.
  • Competitive Insight:In-depth awareness of competitive offerings, enabling effective positioning of SUSE’s unique value proposition.
  • Relationship Building:Proven ability to build trusted, consultative relationships with clients at all organizational levels, particularly C-level executives.
  • Strategic Planning:Demonstrated ability to craft effective business cases and strategic plans, balancing short-term opportunities with long-term revenue growth.
  • Market Awareness:Expertise in industry trends, partner ecosystems, and the implications of emerging technologies like ORAN and Edge solutions.
Collaboration:Strong experience in working with partners and system integrators to create joint GTM strategies and expand market reach.
