The Vice President of Crisis and Substance Use Services provides executive leadership and management as a member of the Senior Management Team. The Vice President is responsible for direct oversight of operations of multiple care management, integration, emergency services and MCI models within the Aspire Health Alliance system. The position provides overall direction and daily management of these services. Responsibilities include developing and implementing a service delivery approach, planning, and coordination of activities between divisions, administrative and clinical services, financial management; supervision of program directors, personnel management, quality assurance, clinical leadership and liaison with purchasers of services. As a member of the Senior Management Team, the Vice President will represent Aspire Health Alliance both internally and in the community.

Required Skills

  • Demonstrated strong leadership skills and an ability to balance administrative needs with clinical concerns
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a member of a Senior Management Team and to contribute to policy-setting and the development of the agency
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Required Experience

  • Master’s Degree in healthcare/science or related field
  • Independent licensure in social work, psychology or related field
  • Minimum of 7 years supervisory experience post licensure
  • Budget preparation and analysis
  • Experience in case management with high risk populations
  • Demonstrated experience in assessing adults, children, and families in crisis
  • Experience with health and hospital systems required
  • Knowledge/experience with integration, community partners and ACOs
  • Experience with alternative payment systems
