This position is responsible for the overall operations and is essential to the continued growth and success of the QUILS™ Group. This position will direct all aspects of the group’s strategic plan and growing portfolio of projects and opportunities. This includes allocating resources for operations, implementation, and successful outcomes, and providing consistent and coherent trajectory of the QUILS™ group work across multiple projects, locations, and with various PI leads. Candidates will be at the forefront interaction between the JCB sales team, Order Fulfilment, JCB corporate and other departments as needed.This opportunity is an excellent entry way to learn and grow with our organization.Major Tasks, Responsibilities &amp; Key Accountabilities<ul><li>Perform administrative functions, including but not limited to, order processing and invoicing, creation of purchase orders against the factory, creation of workorders, and machine release.</li><li>Validation of machine inventory including review of current machine orders to pull or push out orders pending vessel schedule, build plan, or attachment lead time.</li><li>Run, analyze, verify and complete required reports and maintain spreadsheet.</li><li>Provide accurate information and assistance to Sales team, which includes determining pick-up and/or delivery needs, problem resolution, updating systems to meet customer special handling requirements, selling company services and provide potential leads to sales.</li><li>Assist our sales team via phone or e-mail in all inquiries, including but not limited to, tracking shipments, rate quotes, tariff discrepancies, billing and/or invoicing questions, etc.</li><li>Communicate with sales, operations and other service centers and/or departments to ensure customer’s needs are achieved and all issues are resolved.</li><li>Observe experienced workers to acquire knowledge of methods, procedures, and standards required for performance of departmental duties.</li><li>Provide outstanding support and assistance to JCB's dealers and customers.</li><li>Learn facets of the construction equipment business to prepare for future roles within the organization.</li><li>Perform other duties as required.</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications<ul><li>Four (4) year college degree with a supply chain and/or business focus</li><li>Must be able to work full-time</li></ul>Knowledge, Skills, Abilities &amp; Competencies<ul><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office software</li><li>Comfortable in an in-person office environment</li><li>Technical competence is a plus</li><li>Must be customer service oriented, flexible, and have a high energy level</li><li>Must have excellent follow-through skills</li><li>Must have a professional, polished, and sophisticated demeanor and be comfortable in most social settings</li><li>Must be open to domestic and international travel</li><li>Desire and proven ability to learn and grow</li></ul>Job Conditions<ul><li>Both office environment and occasionally manufacturing/factory environment</li><li>Subject to noise and temperature changes</li></ul>Physical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
