JOB STANDARDS:
Minimum Faculty Qualifications
A master’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university and a minimum of 18 graduate semester credit hours (or equivalent) in information technology, computer science, computer engineering, cyber defense, or other related field is required.
Industry certifications, such as those from CompTIA and ISC2, are preferred.
Previous experience is not required.
Teaching experience, especially in a community college environment, is preferred.

Effectively handle distributed transactions</li><li>.Develop and deploy microservices based APIs over Docker containers</li><li>.Provide technical expertise in driving projects from inception to closure</li><li>Work independently as well as collaborate effectively with cross functional teams on case-by-case basis</li><li>.Work with Product team, other data engineers and DevOps to deliver features on time.</li><li>Be a change agent with hands-on ability to build POC products and set the best practices.</li><li>Perform code reviews and help the team to produce quality code.</li><li>Work in a geographically distributed team setup.</li><li>Identify opportunities for further enhancements and refinements to standards and processes.</li><li>Fine tune the existing application with new ideas and optimization opportunities to reduce the latency</li><li>Scoping/Effort Estimates: contribute to solution scoping and effort sizing with a cross-functional team.</li><li>Research: stay informed on technology trends.</li></ul><h4>Qualifications:</h4><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in engineering or Computer Science or equivalent&nbsp;</li><li>5+ years of experience in service/framework development using Python, Ngnix, Java/J2EE, Microservices along with Cloud native solutions for Content delivery, infrastructure management, storage and Database.</li><li>4+ years of Web Services development experience – REST/SOAP/GRAPHQL</li><li>4+ Agile development experience</li><li>Experience with multithreading concepts</li><li>Experience with Cloud policies, certificate management and deep dive understanding of kubernetes</li><li>Experience with microservice architecture and distributed (multi tiered) systems.</li><li>Exposure in reactive/ asynchronous programming.</li><li>Experience with continuous integration/deployment(Jenkins, XLR ,GITHUB actions etc.)</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Experience with Kafka</li><li>Experience on unit testing tool like Karate, Selenium, Cucumber, Mockito and Junit or any other Python Unit test frameworks</li><li>Exposure in building cloud native applications.</li><li>Expertise with logging and monitoring tools Splunk, Dynatrace</li><li>Proficient in writing SQL and PL/SQL</li><li>Expertise in objected oriented analysis, design and design patterns</li><li>Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external business partners</li><li>Strong written, verbal communications, presentation skills, problem solving and analytical skills</li><li>Willingness to understand the business and participate in discussions around project requirements</li><li>Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, GCP</li></ul>Salary Range: $85,000.00 to $150,000.00 annually + bonus + benefitsThe above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
