Title: Adjunct Instructor – Industrial Process Control Technology (Pool)
POSITION SUMMARY This position is responsible for delivering quality instruction in an equitable environment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Teach courses via on-ground, online and hybrid or web-enhanced delivery modes as assigned. Work with course leads and/or program coordinators to ensure consistent and equitable student experiences. Utilize the College’s learning management system to provide course materials to students. Submit updated department syllabus prior to the first day of class. Regularly check College email account and department mailbox. Respond to emails/messages within 48 hours, except on weekends. Complete all required reports, such as attendance, Early Alerts, student progress reports, grade submissions, and administer and return surveys and student outcome assessments by the deadlines. Submit final grades for each semester by the deadline established by the Registrar. Comply with all College and TBR policies and guidelines.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Technology or related field or Associate’s degree in Technology or related field with NCCER instruction certification or industry experience in industrial process control technology
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS College level teaching experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Knowledge of and/or experience with a variety of instructional delivery modes, including synchronous and asynchronous online teaching. Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with a diverse student, faculty and staff population. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
Rate of Pay: $650.00 - $740.00 per credit hour

Title: Temporary – Instructional Assistant, Surgical Technology (Pool)
POSITION SUMMARY This position provides instructional assistance and support in the surgical technology program.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Supervises and evaluates clinical students. Assists instructor with laboratory training. Assists with coordinating and supervising laboratory exercises. Evaluates laboratory students. Maintains inventory of laboratory equipment
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Associate’s degree
Current NCCA-accredited certification in surgical technology
Prior experience as a surgical technologist or surgical technologist educator
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AAS in Surgical Technology from a nationally accredited program
Two (2) years of experience as a surgical technologist or surgical technologist educator
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Knowledge of and/or experience with a variety of instructional delivery modes, including synchronous and asynchronous online teaching. Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with a diverse student, faculty and staff population. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Rate of Pay: $29.50 per hour
Work Hours: Up to 28 hours per week
