Provides evaluation, technical support, and training (group or one-on-one) to students with disabilities on the use of AT and strategies for effective utilization (including both Android and Apple-based products/devices). Creates training materials and posts to department website. 9. Reviews disability documentation for accuracy, completeness and compliance in relation to disability documentation guidelines: manages student's information with strict adherence to the protection and confidentiality of all student records and in accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). 10. Provides orientation, referral, educational planning, and support services to students who are in the process of registering or require intake interviews. 11. Provides information and support to prospective students and their parents/families in order to facilitate a smooth onboarding experience. 12. In coordination with Administrative Assistant maintains ongoing tracking and follow-up of student cases to facilitate and expedite student completion of intake and registration process. 13. Regularly inputs case notes and other relevant information in the disability services database, ensures accurate and up-to-date information and shares this information with Director as necessary. 14. Works in tandem with the Administrative Assistant regarding students who have AT equipment out on loan. Regularly monitors existing inventory, keeps data updated in AIM, and makes recommendations for upgrades &amp; new inventory to Director when necessary. 15. Researches and keeps abreast of new products, technologies, and enhancements to existing and emerging technologies and makes recommendations to the Director and other support staff as appropriate. 16. Serves as the administrator for DSS database systems (AIM and CRM); Maintains and monitors student and service data, pulls data, generates reports, and provides this data to the Director when necessary. 17. Maintains professional expertise in matters pertaining to federal and state regulations and policies affecting persons with disabilities, including Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, and the American with Disabilities Act, as amended. 18. Works in tandem with other support staff and assists with functions that support that support the enrollment, persistence, retention, and completion goals of students with disabilities. 19. Serves as liaison to IT, Testing Center, Purchasing, and other staff as necessary in matters relating to accessibility and assistive technology for students receiving accommodations. 20. Works with other campus academic and student support services departments in appropriate referrals for students' needs. 21. Serves as an advocate for students with disabilities to ensure equal access. 22. Assists Accommodations Specialist with attending IEP and other transition-related meetings for prospective students when necessary. 23. Participates in cross-functional meetings and committees assigned by the Director as appropriate. 24. Job Summary
Reporting to the Radiologic Technology Program Director, the Radiologic Technology Clinical Coordinator/Instructor is responsible for the organization, administration, continuous review, planning, development, and overall effectiveness of clinical experiences for students in the Radiologic Technology program. The Clinical Coordinator is a professional, credentialed faculty responsible for teaching a full range of college-level classes in the Radiologic Technology Program. The Clinical Coordinator will teach and develop traditional, online, and hybrid courses, as needed; be responsible for ordering equipment; help recruit and advise for the department; and perform all duties associated with community college faculty.
Job Duties
• Assist with required tasks and documentation to maintain accreditation of program.

Minimum Qualifications:
Certified or certification eligible in Medical Laboratory Science (MLS)/Medical Technologist (MT). Baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution in medical technology or in one of the biological, chemical or physical sciences. Three years full time clinical lab work experience. Licensed or eligible for licensure in Tennessee as a medical technologist. Adequate knowledge and proficiency in content areas taught.

JOB OBJECTIVE: Develop and teach Video Production Technology courses. Contribute to the general oversight of a HDTV studio facilities and related equipment. Aid in curriculum development as it relates to new and emerging media, technologies, professional practices, and media ethics. An understanding of new technologies and processes in the industry to include software and equipment. 
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
60% A. Develop and teach courses related to the design, production and delivery of visual media and prepare course syllabi and materials.
20% B. Evaluate student learning, maintain class records, contribute to management of labs, and equipment.
20% C. Participate in curriculum development, student advising, professional development activities, departmental meetings, college advisory boards, and committee meetings. Work with other Media Technology staff and faculty to obtain grants, recruit new students, retain existing students, work with advisory board to develop and modify curriculum. Perform related duties as assigned.

JOB STANDARDS:

<li>&nbsp;Master’s Degree in Video or media-related field from a regionally accredited college or university to include 18 graduate semester hours in Video, Communication or Media-related courses preferred. Or Bachelor’s degree in Video or media-related field from a regionally accredited college or university and professional experience sufficient to meet SACS criteria. Tenure will be contingent on applicant obtaining or achieving significant progress towards a Master’s Degree as above.</li>
<li>Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated practical work experience in a relevant video-related environment. (More experience is desirable)</li>
<li>Understanding of media convergence and the importance of multidisciplinary education as taught in the Media Technologies program at Pellissippi State.</li>
<li>Higher education teaching experience beyond the level of Teaching Assistant or Research Assistant. (Community College teaching experience, or a clear commitment to the community college ethos preferred.)</li>
<li>Understanding of online delivery of courses and the importance of creating an online community with students to include social media such as online portfolios, blogs, and social networking</li>
<li>Understanding of and acceptance of the comprehensive community college philosophy.</li>

<li>Professional experience creating materials for communications industry in contemporary and emerging media on a regional or national level.</li>

<li>Expertise sufficient to teach multiple level classes in Video Production Technology</li>
<li>Skill as a visual communicator.</li>
<li>Expertise in a field complimentary to existing PSCC Media Technologies faculty is desiredFamiliarity with professional standards, processes, equipment, techniques, ethics, and business practices in the video industry.</li>
<li>Capability to deliver courses traditionally and online as appropriate.</li>
<li>Professional experience problem solving and creating in post production environments including capturing and transferring video footage. Understanding of video compression, finishing and delivery formats. The ability to research and design new technologies and production workflows for professional and classroom scenarios.&nbsp;</li>
