The Executive Director of Off Campus Instructional Sites (OCIS) is a full-time, fiscal year position reporting to the Dean of Academic Support and Operations. The Executive Director provides leadership, management, planning, and advocacy for all off-campus instructional sites. This position ensures that the OCIS are in compliance with SACSCOC standards, the college, TBR, and THEC policies. Job Duties

<li>Leads OCIS strategic planning initiatives.</li>
<li>Ensures OCIS programs are consistent with the mission of Southwest and that activation, assessment, and deactivation of OCIS offerings are done in accordance with college policy.</li>
<li>Tracks and analyzes student enrollment, retention, and performance data; uses data to make informed decisions regarding academic programs and resource management.</li>
<li>Ensures adherence to SACSCOC Standard 14.3 (Comprehensive Institutional Reviews) which outlines the expectations for on-campus instruction to apply to programs offered through OCIS.</li>
<li>Ensures selection of programs to be offered at an OCIS is the purview of the appropriate academic division which is expected to provide necessary and sufficient oversight of the program to ensure the currency of the program, its courses, and resources.</li>
<li>Ensures each OCIS program results in learning outcomes appropriate to the rigor and breadth of the credential awarded. Each program offered through OCIS has procedures in place to collect and review identified student learning outcomes and to identify program improvements based on the data collected.</li>
<li>Commits to supporting implemented programs for a period sufficient to enable admitted students to complete the program (as long as financially feasible).</li>
<li>Ensures that all OCIS students have access to relevant library resources to support the courses in which they are enrolled and provides access to library support services that closely approximates that offered to on-campus students as outlined in SACSCOC standards 11.1 (Library and Learning/Information Resources) and 11.3 (Library and Learning /Information Access).</li>

MBA is a plus.</li><li>A combination of education and experience that proves ability to perform role may be considered in lieu of a degree.</li><li>&nbsp;10+ years’ manufacturing experience required, with 5+ years in a people leadership role.</li><li>Experience leading full plant operations previously as a Plant Manager is highly preferred.</li><li>Confection, Food, Beverage, or Consumer Packaged experience is strongly preferred. High level of accountability with a drive for results</li><li>Continuous improvement professional with a focus on data-based decision making</li><li>Strong financial/business acumen with experience and ability to manage a budget Leader focused on Teamwork, Training, Developing &amp; Coaching associates</li><li>Effective written &amp; verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate and influence others at all levels of the organization.</li><li>Advanced technical/professional knowledge, including application of Operational</li><li>Excellence and Lean Manufacturing.</li><li>Strong problem solving, negotiating and decision-making skills with a proven ability to manage complex situations.</li><li>Proficiency with computers, including the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
