Title: Director of Donor Relations and Programs
POSITION SUMMARY The Director of Donor Relations and Programs develops, implements, manages and assesses a comprehensive donor relations plan to support the strategic growth of foundation and improve internal and external relations for the college. This is accomplished by the Foundation’s annual fundraising plan which includes campaigns, events, donor research and cultivation, and database management. This position will also oversee scholarships and student supports as well as supervision of the Development Associate.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee the Foundation’s annual fundraising strategy that includes but is not limited to campaigns, events, donor research and cultivation, and database management. Develops, implements and leads a successful and integrated donor relations program that strategically targets all levels of giving as defined by the Foundation team. Ensures donors are acknowledged and recognized to strengthen their financial support for the college. Plans and executes stewardship efforts such as photo opportunities, events, mailings, etc. Works closely with Foundation staff to demonstrate the impact of philanthropy to donors by arranging meaningful and memorable experiences with funding recipients as appropriate. Oversees student resource deployment and other student programs, tracking outcomes and providing donor feedback (grantors and individual donors). Collaborates with other departments to successfully streamline delivering supports to students.
Oversees the management and administration of all foundation scholarships, including donor and recipient communication such as reports to donors, thank you letters, student testimonials, etc. Uses key metrics to achieve higher donor retention rates and donor satisfaction and to assess the current engagement and activity of donors to determine which efforts have the greatest business impact. Prepares reports and presentations of program data for various internal and external audiences. Develops and manages all aspects of the Nashville State Alumni Association and alumni programs, including recruiting and coordinating volunteers, planning events and securing event sponsorships. Oversees and directs the development and implementation of strategic communications in multiple mediums in a timely fashion. This includes, but is not limited to, social media sites, annual reporting, e-blasts, endowment reports, gift acknowledgements, web pages, fundraising campaign materials and press releases.
Manages any fundraising-related and celebratory events. Ensures special events are communicated to executive leadership, board members, officials and invited guests. Creates innovative programs and projects to thank and steward donors, identifying creative and effective mediums to recognize the impact of corporate and individual support. Tracks donor relations and stewardship activities in the established databases to enhance relationships and increase the likelihood of continued contributions. Responsible for the review and control of all gift acknowledgments, including receipts, thank you letters, pledge statements and donor reports. Supervises the Development Associate. Performs other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions:
40%​ Major Gift Development:&nbsp; Collaborate with College leadership across five campuses and partner with corporate and community stakeholders across the region and the state to execute strategies to secure major gift funding to support the College.&nbsp; Collaborate with academic deans and faculty to promote departmental objectives, raise awareness, and ultimately develop department-specific stakeholder and donor relationships.&nbsp; Identify and qualify funding opportunities that advance the College and the Foundation through prospect identification, research, and cultivation.&nbsp; Lead and coordinate all aspects of a major gifts campaign, including collaboration with Marketing and Communications to prepare proposals, case statements and campaign collateral materials used for major gift solicitation.&nbsp; Solicit and close on major gifts.&nbsp; Steward major gift relationships, including individual donors and corporate philanthropy.

Financial Impact:&nbsp;The Director of Major Gifts is responsible for ensuring that all major gifts, private foundation gifts, and planned gifts given to the Foundation are executed efficiently, effectively, and in compliance with terms of the gift or grant award. Failure to do so may result in the College having to reimburse the donor or granting agency for inappropriate expenditures, the loss of the grant, an inability to apply for future grants and/or a loss of future donations to the Foundation.
Budgetary: The Director of Major Gifts does not have departmental budgetary responsibility or signing authority, but provides input to the Executive Director of the Foundation for operating expenditures. The Director of Major Gifts must understand capital project and equipment budgets and timelines to match effectively funding opportunities with college funding priorities. &nbsp;&nbsp;
Judgement and Decisions:&nbsp;The Director of Major Gift Development prioritizes cultivation opportunities both internally and externally to advance grant or private fundraising.&nbsp; Most decisions are made independently. The VP of Academic Affairs, VP of Business &amp; Finance, Executive Director of the Foundation, and the President of Pellissippi State provide guidance and make decisions pertaining to staffing and budgeting, contractual relationships, and prioritize College facilities, programs and equipment.
Nature of Contacts: The Director of Major Gift Development interacts with multiple stakeholders both internally and externally.&nbsp; Internally, the Director meets with faculty and staff members from virtually every division at the College including Campus and Academic Deans, Marketing and Communications, Human Resources, Academic Affairs, Business &amp; Finance, Economic &amp; Workforce Development, Student Affairs, the Tennessee Consortium for International Studies, Placement Office, and Institutional Effectiveness, Assessment, and Planning.&nbsp; Externally, the incumbent meets with Foundation Board members, governmental and elected officials, business and corporate leaders, economic development officials, donors, prospective donors, retirees, and alumni.
The Director seeks understanding of corporate, foundation, governmental and personal philanthropic and policy goals.&nbsp; The Director influences, persuades and solicits corporate, foundation, governmental and prospective donors to invest cash gifts or pledges and on the behalf of the College. Job Summary
The Director TSBDC at JSCC will oversee the operations, budget, and strategy for the TSBDC in compliance with the TSBDC-JSCC Annual Contract and the TSBDC Strategic Plan. The incumbent is responsible for the delivery of TSBDC programs to individuals, businesses, and organizations throughout the TSBDC at JSCC’s territory. To effectively deliver services to a territory of this size, the director will oversee the offices and staff at the primary office in Jackson, Madison County. Overseeing the public outreach arm of JSCC, the Director supports the host institution through direct and indirect involvement in JSCC programs. The Director is required to travel throughout the service area and is responsible for establishing relationships with stakeholders in the new territory, maintaining existing partnerships in our traditional territory, ensure a positive and impactful presence from the TSBDC and JSCC in business communities throughout the territory and perform other related tasks and special projects as assigned.

Provide technical assistance that includes one to one consulting and the associated research to future and current business owners on business-related topics. Creates, monitors, and manages the Testing Center budget and Institutional Effectiveness plans. Maintains communication with center and site Testing Centers and ensures that materials are provided and sent to other sites in a timely manner. Creates and updates the Testing Center calendar indicating testing schedules, dates, and times. Makes sure that the campus is aware of testing schedules. Coordinates testing for all NSCC locations including dual-enrollment sites.
Monitors Testing Center website to ensure that all information is current and accurate. Makes changes in a timely manner. Ensures that the hardware and software requirements for online testing are met. Keeps up with changes in course management systems and other programs. Provides ongoing training sessions to keep staff current in job responsibilities. Collaborates and communicates with faculty and academic departments about policies and procedures for the administration of classroom exams. Maintains appropriate records (e.g. test tracking logs, program statistics, and placement scores.) Promotes a multi-user proctoring environment to meet the demands of other colleges, universities and businesses.

The Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) program director position is a full-time core faculty member of the RSCC Diagnostic Medical Sonography program. Developing, implementing, evaluating and revising the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program’s master plan of education. 
This is a 12 month position.
Job Duties
<ul>
<li>The Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) program director position is a full-time core faculty member of the RSCC Diagnostic Medical Sonography program. In addition to the duties and responsibilities as a full-time faculty at RSCC (PA-24-01), the DMS program director is responsible for:</li>
<li>Developing, implementing, evaluating and revising the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program’s master plan of education.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Coordinating the development, implementation, and revision process for the program’s curriculum design; including but not limited to, course descriptions, course requirements, and evaluation systems.</li>
<li>Developing program evaluation to ensure ongoing effectiveness through outcomes assessment of quality indicators.</li>
<li>Preparing and maintaining the program budget within established parameters as needed for the program.</li>
<li>Overseeing the evaluation, maintenance, selection, and purchase of educational materials and equipment to meet the needs of the program.</li>
<li>Collaborating with the Diagnostic Medical Sonography faculty to meet the needs of students and program assessment.</li>
<li>Assisting in the process of interviewing, selecting and mentoring faculty.</li>
<li>Interviewing, selecting, mentoring and evaluating adjunct faculty who teach courses within the program under the general supervision.</li>
<li>Counseling and advising prospective and current students.</li>
<li>Serving as a liaison between the program and affiliates/community stakeholders.</li>
<li>Assisting in reviewing affiliation agreements as needed.</li>
<li>Preparing annual reports for the Dean, college representatives and other agencies as needed.</li>
<li>Pursuing ongoing education in the discipline, instructional delivery and management maintain professional competency.</li>
<li>Collaborating with faculty to create a positive learning environment.</li>
<li>Coordinating and directing the procedures required to maintain program accreditation.</li>
<li>Coordinating Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program Advisory Board meetings.</li>
</ul>
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of Bachelor of Science degree. Possess the appropriate credentials specific to one or more of the concentrations offered o Echocardiography, vascular, abdominal, &amp; ob/gyn. • Documented experience in supervision, instruction, evaluation, student guidance and In educational theories and techniques. • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a registered sonographer in the professional sonography field.
Approval of this position dependent upon funding availability. Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree or higher.
