You and your team will support the setup and take down of internal and external events held at the Rose Quarter. DAY-TO-DAY:&nbsp;<ul><li>Oversees conversion timelines, goals, quality-assurance and safety training of crews</li><li>Assisting with recruitment, scheduling, payroll, and supervision of all personnel disciplinary actions.</li><li>Confirms event information from Event Management and Production teams and directs department accordingly.</li><li>Helping maintain proper storage of Conversion tools and supplies as needed.</li><li>Works closely with Facility operations department to maintain equipment and ensure its in excellent working condition. </li><li>Working with department managers to procure any necessary equipment for the Conversions department</li><li>Locating and correcting any problems that could place the building in violation of fire and/or safety codes</li><li>Assist in developing training plans and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).</li><li>Supporting in the development of departmental policies and procedures and implementation to ensure that the highest possible standard of operations is met and sustained</li><li>Coordinating with other departments and contractors as needed on event and non-event days. </li><li>Proactively seeks out improvement projects and processes to streamline conversions.</li><li>Work closely with the Conversion overnight shift to ensure seamless interactions between crews.</li><li>Operate forklift and scissor lift as needed.</li><li>Overseeing and participating in ice installations to ensure accuracy, including the supervision and training of the ice making crews; and maintenance of ice making supplies and equipment. </li></ul>WE’D LIKE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU:<ul><li>Must be a strong leader through busy and slow times of the year.</li><li>Organized in multitasking of dealing with multiple size and type of events.</li><li>Experience in Microsoft office software.</li><li>Strong organization skills </li><li>Calm and professional demeanor in an often-stressful environment</li><li>Ability to understand and overcome adversities that may arise during and outside of events</li></ul>Offers of employment&nbsp;are conditional&nbsp;upon&nbsp;the results of a background investigation.&nbsp;We consider qualified applicants with criminal histories&nbsp;and review results on an individual&nbsp;basis.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;The Portland Trail Blazers at the Rose Quarter&nbsp;embraces&nbsp;diversity and&nbsp;inclusion.
