JOB STANDARDS:
Minimum Faculty Qualifications

Position Summary: The purpose of this job is to plan and implement a comprehensive alumni awareness program for Pellissippi State graduates and former and current students to cultivate the interests and philanthropic support of college alumni and community members in collaboration with the director. This work includes leading the planning and implementation of the Swing Big for Students annual fundraiser. This position also provides administrative support for the Director of Annual Giving and Donor Engagement.
Essential Functions:&nbsp; 
60% Develop and implement a comprehensive alumni awareness and fundraising program for Pellissippi State graduates, former and current students in order to strengthen relationships and cultivate the interests and philanthropic support of all constituents. Activities include, but are not limited to the following: Where Are They Now Wednesday features, Distinguished and Volunteer Alumni Awards promotions and processes, workshops and networking events, graduation/reunion events, and other opportunities designed to highlight and engage alumni. Communicate with alumni through a variety of methods, including but not limited to face-to-face, email, phone, enewsletters, and social media. Ensure the accuracy of alumni data and maintain alumni documents. Conduct prospect research and maintain a portfolio of alumni for cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of annual gifts through a variety of methods. &nbsp;Collaborate with faculty and staff across the College to strengthen and foster alumni engagement.
30% Work with the Director to implement funding opportunities that will advance the mission of the College and the Pellissippi State Foundation. In addition, assist in the solicitation of sponsors for Foundation and Alumni fundraising events.
Provide leadership to plan, organize, and execute the Swing Big for Students annual fundraising event from inception to completion through direct solicitation of sponsorships and facilitation of a group of board volunteers, community leaders, and foundation staff. Develop event timelines, budgets and marketing plans to maximize participation and fundraising outcomes. Coordinate with vendors, venues, and internal partners. Track and analyze event metrics including revenue, expenses, and ROI.
5% Provide administrative support to the Director of Annual Giving and Donor Engagement

Position Summary:&nbsp;The position helps spearhead the College's retention efforts through coordination of planning, implementation, and execution of strategies to improve retention, progression, and graduation rates for all students through focused and strategic interventions. The position will manage a caseload of students across all five Pellissippi State Campus locations, focusing on in-person meetings, mentoring, advising, and coaching to close equity gaps and facilitate success in College. The position assists with planning and supporting new student onboarding through contextualized orientation sessions and welcome event. Additionally, the incumbent will support re-entry pathways for students experiencing academic probation and suspension. Duties and&nbsp;Responsibilities:
50% Execute existing academic support plan for assigned students: such as first-time first-year, part-time, adult learners, and underrepresented student groups.

Essential Functions:&nbsp; 
70% Responsible for coordinating purchasing functions of the College.&nbsp; Confer with College staff concerning all purchases of supplies, services, and equipment.&nbsp; Ensure that all purchase orders and request for bids/proposals meet and comply with Tennessee Board of Regents policies and procedures and State of Tennessee policies, procedures, and laws.&nbsp; Approve all requisitions for supplies, services, and equipment per set procedures to include verification and selection of vendors and specifications in the College’s eProcurement system (PelliBiz).&nbsp; Complete change orders as required.&nbsp; Monitor and resolve aging requisitions and purchase orders. Assist shipping/receiving and accounts payable staff with unidentifiable shipments or invoices.&nbsp; Research and resolve problems concerning orders or delivery of supplies, services, and equipment.&nbsp;
10% Obtain, document, and process purchasing bids and proposals.&nbsp; Correspond with College staff and external vendors concerning purchase specifications and pricing.&nbsp; Complete bid/proposal packages and submit for award.&nbsp; Maintain bid and proposal files.&nbsp; Coordinate process for annual orders to include processing bids, maintain master control list, and assure all orders are in place at the beginning of each fiscal year.
5% Responsible for the maintenance of college vendor files and W-9 information.&nbsp; Develop and process new vendor requests with the TBR Total Supplier Management system. Review outstanding requests weekly and resolve all issues.
5% Generate and verify purchasing reports in the Banner system for submission to the Tennessee Board of Regents and others as needed.&nbsp;
5% Assign equipment identification numbers and forward to the receiving department.&nbsp; Assist property office with questions concerning property to be inventoried and for surplus.
5% Serve as College representative on the TBR Council of Buyers.&nbsp; Participate in College committee and programs, and in related professional groups and organizations. Job Requirements:&nbsp;
Associate’s degree in business related field and 5 years purchasing or business-related experience or a high school diploma and 7 years purchasing or business-related experience.

20% Develop and implement annual plans for the program area. Develop and maintain relationships with transfer institutions for Nursing Pathways. Develop and maintain accurate advising literature for transfer institutions/programs. Keep current information on website and available in print.
15% Collaborate with Student Orientation coordinators to ensure that all incoming students who are interested in nursing are given appropriate information. Coordinate with enrollment representatives to represent PSCC at high school events, career fairs, etc.
5% Other duties
Participate in routine activities and special initiatives related to Nursing Pathways. Mediate and address student and faculty concerns and conflicts. Supervise work-study and/or Student Employment Program (SEP) students. &nbsp;
Job Requirements:

In addition, the coordinator will interact with local transfer partners to share information regarding transfer options for students.
Responsibility for Accuracy: These errors, or oversights should be caught, if not immediately by the supervisor, the Dean or Departmental Assistant, and by the subsequent reviewers.
Judgement and Decisions: Day to day management of Nursing Pathways advising.
Physical Demands: Travel to all campuses will be required. Otherwise, a standard degree of ability in walking, standing, and sitting are required. Manual dexterity (use of computer keyboard and handwriting) is necessary.

 Position Summary: To provide quality instruction for student learning and to maintain a positive learning environment in the classroom. The major emphasis will be placed on teaching and evaluating students in the classroom and laboratories.

 Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Planning and teaching classes as assigned and as outlined in the course descriptions and course syllabi. 2. Supervising the study and learning activities of students assigned. 3. Submitting requests through the department head, program coordinator, or lead teacher for equipment, supplies, textbooks, and other instructional aids. 4. Evaluating the academic progress of students. 5. Demonstrating knowledge of services, regulations, and procedures as defined in the Adjunct Faculty Handbook. 6. Submitting course grades and performing other administrative duties as required. 7. Scheduling two office hours. For extenuating circumstances in which office hours cannot be scheduled, the adjunct faculty member must submit a written plan to the Dean describing how students can access the instructor. Office hours are not paid during the summer session.
 Required Qualifications: Master’s degree or higher from a regionally accredited college/university with at least 18 graduate semester hours in the Management teaching field
