The coordinator ensures the maintenance of all equipment and responds to department requests for information on lab materials and equipment for the purpose of replacement and/or upgrading. The laboratory support of instruction is of primary importance and the coordinator achieves this through personal effort and the effective supervision of other instructors and student aides. In addition, this position has responsibility for developing and delivering HVACR technology programs, including apprenticeships, through the Center for Workforce Development. The coordinator will assist in student and employer partner recruitment through facility tours, information sessions, and other outreach efforts. The individual coordinates with other areas of the CCM community to ensure a positive student experience.
