Job Summary
The Campus Assistant provides high quality customer service to prospective students, current students, parents, faculty, visitors, and community members to support the campus’ retention and expansion of student enrollment, strong community relations and inclusive environment. The Campus Assistant also provides administrative and operational support to the Campus Director, including but not limited to procard edits, purchasing, budget processes, scheduling, promotional materials, campus tours, and campus events. 




Job Duties:
1. Serves as the initial point of contact for prospective students, current students, parents, visitors and community members contacting the campus by phone, in person or via email. Develops and implements office procedures and methods. Oversees daily flow of front office functions for the campus. 6. Aligns department/unit functions as needed - assist with orientation dates, advising schedules, campus tours, and financial aid dates on campus in an efficient manner. 7. Oversees campus work study students. Directs job responsibilities and monitors work and hours worked. 8. Responsible for purchasing for the campus and performs all procard edits and paperwork to support. Attend college wide budget update and training meetings. 9. Performs assigned PeopleSoft functions. 10. Assists with special events and campus tours including scheduling, rental forms, insurance certificates, room reservations and work orders. 11. Coordinates and proctors placement tests. 12. Makes student IDs and assists the campus director as needed. 13. Other duties as assigned

The custodial worker performs general cleaning of campus facilities for the college. Minimum Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree in Industrial Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related equivalent experience

<li>Minimum 3 years of recent hands-on experience in electrical maintenance, industrial electrical systems, or a related role

<li>Strong understanding of metrology principles and proficiency in using various measuring instruments 
</li>
<li>Ability to travel to employer sites within the NKY region (includes southern Ohio) 
</li>
<li>Experience working with or training adult learners 
</li>
<li>Strong communication skills both written and verbal&nbsp;</li>
</ul>




Preferred Qualifications:

<li>Certification in Metrology 
</li>
<li>Experience in the manufacturing or precision measurement industries

<li>Prior teaching, coaching, or technical training experience

Job Duties:
Provides routine administrative support to a department or group of professionals in support of unit goals. • Perform clerical duties to include typing, filing, copying, maintaining forms, scheduling appointments, answering the main office phone, and responding to questions. • Handles logistics and secures resources for meetings, conferences, travel, and department operations. • Sends, receives, copies, and distributes communications to the appropriate entities according to established policies and procedures. • Tracks, orders, inventories, and stocks office supplies under direct supervision to ensure adequate materials are available for workplace operation. • Serves as an occasional point of contact for individuals and groups providing basic organizational information. • Provides front desk coverage. • Assists with monthly procurement card reconciliation and accompanying documentation. • Promotes a professional office environment of efficiency and exceptional customer service. • Provides administrative support to student affairs-based committees including taking minutes and maintaining budgets. • Maintains confidential materials associated with student records. • Demonstrates familiarity with computers and database programs; PeopleSoft, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). • Other duties as assigned by supervisor. 




Minimum Qualifications:
• High school degree, and one to three years related experience, or equivalent. Associate degree preferred.
