Job Summary
<ul>
<li>The custodial worker performs general cleaning of campus facilities for the college. Working collaboratively with the Campus Director, this position works to provide clean and sanitary facilities for students, faculty, staff, and the general public on a daily basis. 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday. This position will be second shift with work hours of 10am-6pm. </li>

Job Duties:

Job Duties:
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: • Facilitates the development and implementation of all aspects of the grant, including programmatic, fiscal, and staff aspects of the project, to ensure grant objectives are attained in compliance with federal regulations. • Develop and maintain strong relationships with pertinent stakeholders such as appropriate campuses, community leaders, and Fort Knox leadership. • Willingness for frequent off-campus visits for the purpose of recruitment and delivery of services to participants at the satellite campuses, including weeknights and weekends. • Recruitment of veterans, active military, and military-connected into the project. • Recruitment of military for the CSP programs that are transitioning into civilian life. • Direct advisement services to participants on career planning, educational information, financial aid, and other areas consistent with the SSC project. • Administers and manages the budget in accordance with college policy and in compliance with the requirements and regulations of the U.S. Department of Education. • Develop budgets, authorize expenditures, and oversee procurement reconciliation. • Hire, supervise, train, and evaluate all project personnel. • Provides daily supervision of academic advising and project activities. • Assists in the identification and selection of participants; and plans. develops, advises, teaches, implements, and assesses all services. • Designs, implements, assesses, and reports project evaluation outcomes. • Oversee the project Risk Assessment and oversee its monthly review with project staff. • Develops and submits reports to the U.S. Department of Education and the college. • Performs routine operational details affecting the project by assuming responsibility for secretarial, clerical, and office management functions, as necessary. • Facilitates dissemination of project information to the target area. 




Minimum Qualifications:

Job Summary
The Student Development Specialist/Campus Advisor (SDS Advisor) provides a holistic case management model of student services to facilitate student completion of educational goals. The SDS Advisor will work directly with new, returning, assigned, referred, and prospective students to assist them in reaching their educational goals. The SDS Advisor will provide information to faculty and students about various college and community resources, monitor academic progress, provide individualized academic coaching/guidance, and identify (collaboratively) solutions to barriers (social and academic). In addition, the SDS Advisor will assist students with understanding college procedures and policies and respond to questions from students, parents, and other interested parties. Services performed include, but are not limited to, program and career advising, academic advising, early alert retention services, registration, orientation, financial aid and other retention and student success support programming. Acts as a liaison with student records and Student Accessibility Services office. This position also assists with the recruitment of new students within the campus’ service region. The SDS Advisor reports to the Campus Director. 




Job Duties:

<li>Provide academic, admissions, career and registration advising for students on the campus.  Advising may take the form of both individual and group advising. 
</li>
<li>Provide academic advising to assigned advisees during priority registration and to other students during late registrations as available. 
</li>
<li>Provide new student orientation events at the campus.  Ensure that content of orientation is consistent with that of other orientations at BCTC. 
</li>
<li>Participate in the development and implementation of campus-wide enrollment events. 
</li>
<li>Assist with local recruitment efforts and community/festivals events to include BCTC information, visits, and registration.

<li>Participate in outreach campaigns targeted at select populations throughout the year.

Job Summary
Hazard Community and Technical College invites applications for our part-time adjunct faculty pool for Advanced and Professional Technologies. Potential areas of need may be in the fields of Air Conditioning Tech; Auto Tech; Construction Tech; Computer Aided Drafting and Design/Surveying; Cosmetology; Diesel Tech; Electrical Tech; Heavy Equipment; Manufacturing Tech; Unmanned Systems Tech and Welding Tech. This position is considered a temporary, part-time position used to fill both online and in person courses.




Job Duties:
Plans and carries out instruction, instructional activities and prepares learning materials. Provides instruction and training to students in one of the particular technical programs listed above. Prepares lesson plans (as needed) and maintains records and reports on student attainment, attendance/activity and progress. Utilizes approved online course templates as needed and syllabus format, maintains labs, classroom order and discipline.

Applicants accepted for online course assignments will be required to complete a Faculty Certification Training Program for Online Instructors and meet (online or in-person) with a member of the distance learning staff.
