Job Description and RequirementsThe Mortgage Retail Closer Funder is responsible for coordinating the closing between RBFCU and investors/lenders, title companies and members/borrowers. They will prepare accurate closing disclosures, loan closing documents and fund loans.&nbsp; The Closer Funder will ensure a fully compliant mortgage loan while providing a high level of member service.Essential Functions &amp; Responsibilities:<ul><li>Complete introduction phone call and email to member in accordance with RBFCU service level objectives after receipt of the file; collaborate with loan officer throughout closing process.</li><li>Update loan files within the loan origination system as necessary to ensure consistent processes of completed tasks assigned and milestone completion.&nbsp;</li><li>Prepares or orders all loan-closing documents and closing disclosures, ensuring that they are accurate in order to have a fully compliant loan; carefully reviewing all documents for any errors, confirming pricing, loan program and funds to close are correct to insure proper funding of loan.</li><li>Reviews and registers loans via automated or manually with Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems, Inc.</li><li>Fund and board closed loan files to RBFCU’s core servicing system or fund loans to external investors such as TruHome or Gateway.</li><li>Coordinates and initiates 3rd party payments on Mortgage Insurance Premiums, VA Funding Fees, title companies, etc.</li><li>Maintain a working knowledge of federal, state, investor, and internal policies and procedures that affect the closing of mortgage loan.</li><li>Reviewing and clearing remaining closing/underwriting conditions. Respond to backup and recovery issues, performing data restores when necessary.</li><li>Design and implement non-critical, internal technology infrastructure, such as Microsoft Teams, Intune Mobile Device Management, and other supporting systems, ensuring seamless integration and user efficiency.</li><li>Monitor data center infrastructure, including power, cooling, and environmental factors, to ensure optimal operation.</li><li>Assist Senior and Lead Infrastructure Engineers with development and maintenance of disaster recovery plans and procedures, as well as contribute to disaster recovery testing and recovery efforts during incidents.</li><li>Assist with the deployment and management of cloud-based services (e.g., AWS, Azure) and ensure integration with on-premises infrastructure.</li><li>Provide 24 x7 x 365 advanced technical support to resolve infrastructure-related issues, working to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex problems and incidents.</li><li>Adhere to SDLC protocols and IT Service/Change Management procedures including change control, Incident and problem resolution, and call logging from acknowledgment through resolution.</li><li>Maintain comprehensive documentation of infrastructure configurations, processes and troubleshooting procedures, and assist with development of various metrics for all managed infrastructure.</li><li>Work closely with Lead and Senior Infrastructure Engineers and Information Security teams to identify and remediate system vulnerabilities and maintain compliance with current platform and industry security standards.</li></ol>JOB QUALIFICATIONSHere are a few skills you MUST have to be qualified for this position.<ol><li>7-9 years of technical experience, including 2-4 years of dedicated experience in an Infrastructure Engineering role building, designing and maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure (both cloud and on-premise) with expertise in Active Directory, User Management, Server Hardware, Virtualization, Storage, and Data Center Management or a Bachelor's Degree in Technology or related field and 3-5 years of technical experience, including 2-4 years of experience in a dedicated Infrastructure Engineering role building, designing and maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure (both cloud and on-premise).</li><li>Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies administration (VMware, Hyper-V, and Citrix). Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2012 and later, MacOS 11.x or later, Android and iOS operating systems, and Desktop Imaging technologies.</li><li>Experience with Storage Area Networks (SAN), NAS, and data backup &amp; archiving systems.</li><li>Demonstrated proficiency in patch automation, security remediation, infrastructure scripting and automation.</li><li>Working knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies and TCP/IP Network protocols and services such as TCP/IP, IPV6, DHCP, DNS, SMTP, WWW, FTP and DFS.</li><li>Ability to function in a Consumer business environment and utilize standard office equipment including but not limited to: PC, copier, telephone, etc.</li><li>Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
