ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
70% Teach Engineering Technology classes (most specifically Electrical Engineering Technology). Create instructional materials and laboratory experiences and teach courses at a variety of times in response to institutional needs, evaluate students’ progress toward achievement of stated student learning outcomes and inform them in a timely manner of their progress in the course, contribute to management of labs, and equipment, develop or update course syllabi for courses within the college guideline and curriculum as necessary to remain current with the industry, reviews, evaluates, and recommends student learning materials.&nbsp; Work with other faculty, staff, and local industries and organizations to continually refine and improve the Electrical Engineering Technology and Electromechanical programs. Such duties to be performed include developing new course materials or courses as required to maintain program currency in emerging technologies in the field of Electrical Engineering Technology and Electromechanical Technology; completing assessment requirements relative to the program.
10% Advise students. Job Duties:

The Director will lead a new team of direct reports, who will own and maintain that framework and associated policies, standards, and procedures.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Lead the development and management of second line technology policies, standards, and procedures over cybersecurity and technology risks</li><li>Support committee governance and reporting while working with first line and second line stakeholders on content, accuracy, and timeliness</li><li>Oversee second line reporting, including quarterly memo and board reporting</li><li>Consulting with technology oversight teams over processes to ensure first line adherence to second line policies and standards</li><li>Partner with technology oversight teams on risk appetite maintenance and reporting and execution of new governance and policies</li><li>Lead and nurture a global team of direct reports and maintaining performance management</li><li>Develop strong working relationships with all levels of the organization, handle and resolve conflict, to achieve results and enact wide-scale impact across the organization</li><li>Understand and keep pace with global regulatory expectations and trends for technology risk governance at large banks</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in business or technology or equivalent</li><li>Three years of experience with policy development, risk committees, or risk reporting</li><li>Five years of risk management experience in cybersecurity or technology across one or more lines of defense</li><li>Five years of people leadership</li><li>Five years of experience in the financial services industry</li><li>Experience leading and delivering positive outcomes for a global team</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Ability to effectively manage multiple and often conflicting priorities under tight timeframes and adapt to frequent change</li><li>Ability to lead without authority derived from band level</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent</li><li>A cybersecurity, technology, or risk management certification (CISSP, CCSP, CEH, CISM, etc.)</li><li>Experience with regulatory and industry cybersecurity frameworks and guidance (CRI Sector Profile, NIST, FFIEC, MITRE ATT&amp;CK)</li></ul>We train and invest in our colleagues.
