They serve as a key liaison between technical teams, stakeholders, and management, ensuring that the project is executed smoothly and successfully, meeting its objectives and delivering value to the organization.What you’ll do<ul><li>Responsible for overall project delivery (cost, schedule, quality) on the current project assignment.</li></ul><ul><li>Lead multidisciplinary teams through project development, from site preparation through system acceptance in accordance with project objectives.</li></ul><ul><li>Work closely with supply chain, engineering managers and leads, and product manager, to ensure rapid execution and on-time, high-quality delivery of complex automation systemsprojects.</li></ul><ul><li>Interact with and motivate talented engineering teams across multiple locations, harnessing their high energy to deliver high-quality projects.&nbsp;</li></ul><ul><li>Facilitate the identification and resolution of issues, risks, and mitigation.</li></ul><ul><li>Lean-focused, continual improvement of new standards, processes, and procedures that streamline team interactions and communication.</li></ul><ul><li>Facilitate cross-functional meetings and regularly communicate initiative status to teams and stakeholders (internal and external).</li></ul><ul><li>Responsible for the overall success of projects which includes cost, schedule, and quality.</li></ul><ul><li>Reviews status and monitors variances on projects, plans and mitigates risks, and provides necessary updates to internal and external stakeholders.</li></ul><ul><li>Serve as the conduit for communication from the client to related parties within the company, EPC’s, and subcontractors.&nbsp;</li></ul><ul><li>Foster a culture focused on transparency, speed of decision-making, and a synchronized partnership within project teams.</li></ul>What you’llneed<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline, construction management, or equivalent years of experience.&nbsp;</li></ul><ul><li>Minimumof 5 years related experience and/or training in construction/automation/material handling fields or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li></ul><ul><li>Experience with detailed-level scheduling, scope, and cost management of complex projects.</li></ul><ul><li>Risk management - Must be able to identify and mitigate complex risks at a project level.</li></ul><ul><li>Experience with robotic automation, material handling, or ASRS projects.</li></ul><ul><li>Experience with design/build, construction management, and installation project management.</li></ul><ul><li>Demonstrated proficiency in managing projects across broad internal (business leadership, sales/solutions, hardware and software engineering, etc.) &amp; external stakeholders (client leadership, general contractors, unions architects, subcontractors).</li></ul><ul><li>Track record of meeting project deliverables while remaining on time and within budget.</li></ul><ul><li>Demonstrated ability to implement creative solutions while working under pressure.</li></ul><ul><li>Good negotiation and relationship skills, both in directing the technical team and the ability to manage and reach solutions to competing priorities.</li></ul><ul><li>Proficient with scheduling software and earned value management systems.</li></ul><ul><li>Experience with using metrics and data analysis to drive process improvements.</li></ul><ul><li>Ability to provide critical technical thinking at the team level to trigger appropriate discussions around requirements, design, and process challenges that the project teams may face.&nbsp;</li></ul><ul><li>Ability to travel up to 60%.</li></ul>Physical &amp; Environment Requirements&nbsp;<ul><li>Remote, travel-based position.</li></ul><ul><li>Employee must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive and/or fly to client and other customer locations. Our main office is in Wilmington, MA. The person taking this position will be required to perform work at our customer installation locations for extended periods where equipment is installed and ready for commissioning.</li></ul><ul><li>The employee is responsible to own a credit card and manage expenses personally to be reimbursed on a bi-weekly basis.</li></ul><ul><li>The employee is frequently required to walk and reach with hands and arms.</li></ul><ul><li>The employee is routinely required to work at heights of up to 45 feet and within restrictive areas of 24 inches. to stand; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.</li></ul><ul><li>The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.</li></ul><ul><li>Must comply with all safety requirements and protocols, including without limitation Lock out tag-out safety protocols and fall protection safety protocols.</li></ul><ul><li>Approximately 75% of site time will be spent on a construction site with PPE required (hard hat, safety vest, steel toes, eyeglasses, ear protection, fall protection (e.g., safety harness).</li></ul><ul><li>There will be steep stairs to climb into the structure. You may be required to routinely walk up and down stairs to navigate the automation structure.</li></ul><ul><li>You will regularly be near railings that are high off the ground.</li></ul><ul><li>Subject to environmental conditions, protection from weather conditions but not necessarily temperature changes.
