Job Summary
<ul>
<li>The primary purpose of the CDL Staff Instructor is to coordinate, promote, and deliver customized Class A, CDL training (instruction) for students in a credit program on the Harlan Campus.</li>

Job Duties:

<li>• Coordinate the development and delivery of Class A, CDL training to students from a variety of backgrounds. Must be present on campus or training site for teaching and advising a minimum of 37.5 hours per week. • Comply with all state and federal CDL/DOT requirements. Ensure program standards meet the Federal and State Training Provider Registry Requirements. • Coordinate part-time instructor assignments and course scheduling. Assist in securing additional adjunct instructors as needed. • Assist with instructional training modules and monitor student skills/progress while maintaining student files. Track student completion and learning outcomes including grades, graduation requirements, and performance tracking. • Assist with counseling students concerning the program, their progress and completion requirements. • Escort students to Kentucky State Police testing facility and prepare them for successful completion of the Class A, CDL driving test. • Manage CDL operational needs and supplies for the program, working closely with Director of Program and other staff in the Workforce Solutions department. • Participate in student and employer recruiting as well as participate in team planning meetings. • Other duties as assigned (may include departmental meetings, internal or external service, professional development, etc.).

Minimum Qualifications:

<li>• Must hold a valid Kentucky Class A, CDL license with a minimum of 5 years driving experience and over-the-road CDL driving experience. • Ability to effectively communicate with and respond to diverse populations and situations that arise. <li>The Academic Advisor (Student Support Specialist II) will work to provide both virtual and in-person wrap-around student services support that includes both currently enrolled and transitioning Foster Youth to provide outreach, support and KCTCS transitioning services into KCTCS colleges. This position will provide academic advising and programming support for dual credit students at Anderson County High School and Bluegrass College Academy (BCA) students at the Lawrenceburg Campuses.




Job Duties: Serve as main point of contact with Anderson County Schools for dual credit and Bluegrass College Academy programming. Provide support for Lawrenceburg Campus BCA students by ensuring effective Friday programming as part of their BCA experience. Job Duties:
<ul>
<li>Plans and carries out instruction in the Nursing program and prepares learning materials in both theory and practice. Prepares lesson plans, instructional activities, provides clinical instruction, and maintains records and reports on student learning. Participates in professional development activities to improve teaching skills and expertise. Provides student advisement, follow-up services to assist in student placement, and promotes public relations. Serves on committees as required, keeps regular posted office hours, and undertakes other assignments as directed by supervisor. May be required to teach evening, weekend, or at other campus locations as the need arises.</li>
</ul>




Minimum Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Valid, unencumbered KY (or a compact state with multistate privileges) registered nursing (RN) license and two years of nursing experience in the last five years. Master’s degree in Nursing preferred. Individuals holding a baccalaureate degree may be considered for hire at instructor level. Preferred candidates will also have at least one year of long-term care experience. All applicants must meet the licensure requirements of the occupation. Rank and salary will be dependent upon the level of education and years of teaching experience.&nbsp;</li>
