Position Summary: To provide quality instruction for student learning and to maintain a positive learning environment in the classroom. The major emphasis will be placed on teaching and evaluating students in the classroom and laboratories.

Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Planning and teaching classes as assigned and as outlined in the course descriptions and course syllabi. 2. For extenuating circumstances in which office hours cannot be scheduled, the adjunct faculty member must submit a written plan to the Dean describing how students can access the instructor. Office hours are not paid during the summer session.

POSITION SUMMARY Under the supervision of the Director of Accounting, manages the accounts payable processes and other related accounting functions to ensure timely, accurate reporting of financial activity for the College and the College Foundation.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Completes accounting for capital projects and equipment, including tagging equipment, performing annual inventory and updating disposed assets.
Reviews ledger accounts and prepares monthly financial statements for the Foundation.
Prepares information for the Foundation’s 990 tax return.
Manages all accounts payable functions, including problem-solving complex issues.
Supervises accounts payable staff.
Reconciles and resolves complex accounts.
Reviews grant billings, budgets and research related issues as needed.
Assists with preparation and review of the College’s financial statements.
