Description Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Applied Mechanics Engineer to work in our Reactor Project Engineering department. Our team works a 4x10 schedule located out of our Materials and Fuels Complex with every Friday off. You will apply engineering principles to analysis, modeling, and simulation of structural and mechanical systems for the National Reactor Innovation Center (NRIC) test beds that will be used to support reactor experiments. Perform linear and nonlinear, static and dynamic analysis of such factors as stress, force, vibration, and material plasticity. We are looking for people who thrive in a creative, collaborative, and agile development environment.&nbsp;What we do&nbsp;The Software Applications team's focus is to develop user interface applications running at customer sites to monitor and control our automated warehouse solutions.
