The Program Director holds a 12-Month faculty position that reports to the Dean of Healthcare Professions. The Director of the Sonography Program is responsible for the Certificate of Diagnostic Medical Sonography and the Certificate of Cardiovascular Sonography Programs at Jackson State Community College. All tasks adhere to CAAHEP and JRCDMS standards, as well as regional healthcare expectations. Job Duties

<li>% - • Developing, implementing, evaluating and revising the Diagnostic Medical Sonography and Cardiovascular Sonography programs’ master plan of education to achieve and maintain full program accreditation. • Didactic teaching in the classroom and laboratory. • Coordinating the development, implementation, and revision process for the program’s curriculum design; including but not limited to, course descriptions, course requirements, and evaluation systems. • Coordinating and directing the procedures required to secure and maintain program accreditation. • Developing program evaluation to ensure ongoing effectiveness through outcomes assessment of quality indicators. • Preparing and maintaining the program budget within established parameters as needed for the program. • Overseeing the evaluation, maintenance, selection, and purchase of educational materials and equipment to meet the needs of the program. • Collaborating with the Diagnostic Medical Sonography and Cardiovascular Sonography programs’ faculty to meet the needs of students and program assessment. • Interviewing, selecting, mentoring and evaluating instructional staff and adjunct faculty who teach courses within the program under general supervision. • Evaluating student performance within the classroom, laboratory and clinical environments. • Advise applicants and program students on academic and career goals to assist them in developing plans for program entry, retention, graduation, and/or job placement. • Counseling and advising prospective and current students. • Promote, support, and participate in student retention, and other program student outcome efforts. • Serving as a liaison between the program and clinical affiliates/community stakeholders. • Assisting in reviewing clinical affiliation agreements as needed. • Preparing annual reports for the Dean, college representatives and other agencies as needed. • Pursuing ongoing education in the discipline, instructional delivery and management maintain professional competency. • Collaborating with faculty to create a positive learning environment. • Coordinating Diagnostic Medical Sonography and Cardiovascular Sonography programs’ Program Advisory Board meetings. • Other duties as assigned. - (Essential)</li>

Minimum Qualifications
• Minimum of Baccalaureate degree and an ACS credential; or possess a minimum of a Master’s degree and a sonography credential in the discipline of cardiovascular or general sonography • Must minimally possess the appropriate credentials specific to the concentrations offered; (e.g., Adult Echocardiography and Vascular Technology), in addition to at least one other required credential in general sonography (Abdomen &amp; Obstetrics &amp; Gynecology) • Documented experience in supervision, instruction, evaluation, student guidance and in educational theories and techniques. • Minimum of 2 years demonstrated full-time clinical experience as a registered sonographer

Other duties may be assigned.<ul><li>Develop and lead internal cross-functional product pricing lifecycle teams.</li><li>Manage external vendors for supporting pricing and contracting programs.</li><li>Oversee proposal, financial and ROI analysis of various IDN/GPO/payer segments and channels in support of contracting goals.</li><li>Conduct analysis to assess identified competitive threats related to competitor pricing and/or contracting activity.</li><li>Develop and maintain internal contract performance reports for promoted products.</li><li>Create and update templates for customer business reviews and rebate relationships with key accounts.</li><li>Train the accounts teams and, where necessary, other field-based teams on new contracting programs.</li><li>Evaluate therapeutic areas for new products to project market and product value and develop pricing analyses leading to formal recommendations for the pricing/contracting committee.</li><li>Analyze product markets, life cycle status, and competitive environments for in-line products to make formal price change recommendations aligned with corporate financial objectives.</li><li>Assess economic drivers and barriers related to IDNs, payers, customers, and patients that impact product utilization.</li><li>Partner with Finance counterparts to support GTN forecasts and budgets and to ensure accurate government reporting and submissions.</li><li>Collaborate across Brand Teams, Market Access, Finance, Business Development, Legal and other functional teams to develop and implement contracting and pricing program solutions that effectively and efficiently meet strategic objectives.</li><li>Present program/strategy updates to internal stakeholders.</li></ul>Supervisory Responsibilities:&nbsp;Supervise a team of Payer Account DirectorsEducation and Experience:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in health sciences, business/marketing, or a related field required.</li><li>Master’s degree preferred.</li><li>Minimum 10+ year’s relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry including at least 2 years in pricing and contracting (commercial and government).</li><li>Experience in a combination of large and start-up companies preferred.</li><li>Strong knowledge of WAC, Best Price, AMP, ASP.</li><li>Strong knowledge of core contract terms and condition</li><li>Deep understanding of GPO, IDN, payer and customer segments relevant to brand products</li><li>Strong understanding of the US Reimbursement System across major payer segments (Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, Federal).</li></ul>Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
